Okay, here goes. After trying unsuccessfully to chew a new piece of Dubble Bubble gum with his few remaining teeth, Pete sadly gave up soooooo
I "pre-chewed" a piece of gum for him on the way to his baseball game last night.

When DD4 was 2, DH took the kids to the park. DD dropped her lolipop in the sand, DH licked the sand off and gave it back to her.

He must follow the 10 second rule. It's still good if you pick it up within 10 seconds of when it hits the ground. :p

I gave my daughter pudding last night while my husband was in the shower. She didn't eat dinner so he told her she couldn't have pudding. I didn't want her to be hungry so I gave in. I did confess to him though, I am not good at keeping things secret.

Now that is love! :lovestruc
I especially like hearing/seeing dads do these things as we are more used to it from moms! ;)

Mmmmmmm...I let DD5 (usually a good eater) eat whatever she wants for breakfast. Sometimes its toast or waffles or other acceptable breakfast foods. This morning it was two small hershey bars. She will also have cake...cupcakes...ice cream...and other things like that...and I let her! :)

About once a month, I give my kids ice cream for dinner. :)

And I really really hate the game Candyland with a passion.

I used to tell my kids that all the toys in the store were "sleeping", and we couldn't go to the toy section in the store. I would tell my kids we couldn t wake up the toys.

They never got toy gimmmees in the store!

I still tell my kids that every meat they eat is chicken

LOL My mom was just telling me the other day how she and my dad used to cheat any way they could to get Candyland over with as soon as possible. And I thought I was just that good! :hyper:

Off topic, but did you know that there is no maximum time if the dropped food is chocolate??? ie... if you find an M&M in the couch that has probably been there for 3 months, IT'S STILL GOOD!!!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I hate Dr Suess books!
I once took my DD's gum and blew a bubble for her and then gave it back (Poor kid had been trying forever to do it herself).
