Okay, this poll was inspired by the discussion on the quirks thread about eating M&Ms. PoohBearLovinMama wanted to know.. Plain or Peanut. But alas! There are so many other options out there too!

So, lets see what kind rules...

What is your favorite kind of M&M? And also, do you eat them in any special order or just a color free-for-all?

Okay, why I am only the one to answer this poll? Is it like the costume party where I am the only one told to dress up? Why isn't anyone playing?

so i went to the easter baskets and sampled
and finally decided

oh, and I don't like to have an odd number of any color, so if it is odd, I eat the extra M&M, and then usually have the rest in color pairs.

I answered too...the kids and I are plain M&M lovers...

However, I made a boo boo for Easter and got a bag of peanut....and WHO KNEW...they are DH's fav...Keep seeing him chewing, and when I ask what he's eating...he says "Nothin"...with big peanut breath...

As for how we eat them...by the handfuls, colors are irrelevant

Anything but almond - yucky for me! Beyond that, chocolate is chocolate and I will get it any way I can.

Wow, I really didn't know that there were so many M&M choices out there. I knew about Crispy (yuck!) and almond, but never any of those other ones! I want to try the dark chocolate ones. Yum, when do those come out?

PBLM - the last time M&Ms brought out the dark ones was in their Jedi mix for the last Star Wars movie last year. They haven't brought them back since. I would think they would with the way dark chocolate is so popular lately! Hersheys is really going to town with dark chocolate. I bought Special Dark Kisses and a bag with an assortment of Special Dark minis (Peanut, Crispy, etc) for Easter. I'll let you know if I see them out again!

The best is that you can now buy solid color M&M's at certain candy store. I did this at Goofy's Candy Store on Main Street. We opted for shades of purple and Blue!

I voted plain. I eat mine by color too and I like to have an even number of each color, so if I don't I eat those first then eat them by color. I don't eat a specific color first though. I don't feel so weird anymore.
