Okay, thinking about the lobster and seafood is making me hungry!

I always hear good about Bahama Breeze. I am wanting to try it while we are there since we will be offsite a lot. Anyone been there? What dishes are the best? Drinks too! :p

There is a Bahama Breeze nearby (not the Orlando one) and it is excellent!

They have fish, seafood, chicken, beef, and all types of appetizers. I would consider the cuisine more of a Carribean inspired. My DH loves hot stuff, and it wasn't hot enough for him -- but again he eats Habeneros whole, and doesnt flinch! They have stuff like jerk chicken, coconut shrimp, seafood and pasta, etc.

The service at my location is excellent. The decor has palm trees, slow moving fans, wicker chairs... very island feel. That island decor is wonderful in a snowy day in February!

The bathroom is chock full of anemities. Such as small packets of mouthwash, gel, an hairspray. -- my daughter loves the Bahama Breeze bathroom!

Bahama Breeze is great. I love the pasta with salmon. The ultimate pina colada is great, too. We have never had a bad meal at either BB in the area. It is a must do on every trip and usually the only offsite restaurant we dine in.

I'm not a big chain food lover but enjoy Bahama Breeze! If you are low-carbing try the wings - excellent!

I had coconut shrimp last month - delicious!

Had this drink once, it was good! -Bahamarita® Our signature frozen margarita with Cuervo Gold and real kiwi, mango and strawberry ices

if you go to bahamabreeze.com you can read the whole menu.

We've tried much of it, and our favorite items are the West Indies Patties and the coconut crusted onion rings (both on the appetizer menu)

in addition to the bahamrita, I'm partial to the

Mojito Cubano A classic Cuban cocktail -- crushed spearmint, fresh lime, fresh squeezed sugar cane and Bacardi Light Rum.

A couple of those, and life is FINE:bounce:

Last January DH and I ventured off site to find some outlets that have a discount Disney mechandise store, we came across a Bahama Breeze. We had a great meal and a great time. Great cocktails, live music and really good food. We will go back, if we can find it!:)

It's quite close to WDW. When leaving DTD, proceed on Hotel Plaza Blvd. to the intersection of SR 535 at Crossroad's Plaza. Take a right there, and stay to the left. After passing under the I-4 overhead, take a left on Vine. Follow the signs for the Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. You will see Bahama Breeze on your left.

Sounds great. I won't be able to pick what to try first! I think an Ultimate PinaColada is waiting with my name on it... "Irie mon... Irie!!!"

This, and hopefully a reservation at Cinderella's table, are our two 'musts'.

appetizer portions are HUGE at Bahama Breeze. The Onion Rings easily serve 3 - 4 people as an appetizer, and I am a big eater. The coconut crusted shrimp are tremendous.

I did have one dish I didn't enjoy. I don't remember the name of it exactly, but it had "sofrito" as one of the main ingredients.

The wings are great. The salad is great. Basically everything I have ever eaten there was at least very good with the one exception above.

BTW, here is what we do: since appetizers are so HUGE, we usually just all order an appetizer per person, and soup or salad, and let everybody chow down on the all the different appetizers.

At home, in Philly, we usually walk away with a pretty good sized doggy bag ( which is waaaay to good for the dog ). While on vacation I can't see the point of this at all, so I would definitely make a meal of apps!

Enjoy my favorite chain restaurant!

The roasted cuban bread is lovely and enough to share. Thats the only appetiser we had in our two visits.

I had a cob salad, angel hair prawn pasta. Husband had scallop pasta and paella.

We didn't have puddings. The children had macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders! Good quality versions of what you get anywhere!

We weren't disappointed with any of our dishes. Go with what you fancy from the menu at the time.

Bahama Breeze is a must-do for any of our trips to Florida. I also love the Pasta with Salmon. The dessert with the warm banana bread and ice cream is wonderful...large enough to share! We usually go the the Bahama Breeze adjacent to the Marriott Village.

We just ate at a Bahama Breeze last night and it was pretty good. It was a large group so we were able to try several different appetizers and drinks.

As for the appetizers the coconut onion rings and the roasted cuban bread were pretty good. I didn't really care for the tostones con pollo but other people really liked them. Everybody really enjoyed their entrees. I had a pan seared chicken dish (which isn't listed on their on-line menu that was pretty good.) I would recommend ordering the full portion if you are hungry becuase mine was kind of small (only the pan seared chicken - all the other lighter portions were pretty big!)

As for drinks we liked:
Bahamarita
Carribean magic
Russian Quailude
Rum runner
Very Berry something

Prices were pretty reasonable. The total bill for 10 (drinking) adults was just under $200.

I would highly recommend it!
