Well, I'm against it. You should never kill a baby. Even though you can't take care of it, don't kill it. Put it up for adoption so a family will be able to love and care for the child.

On abortion?
I think it should only be necessary if the women is in danger or has been raped, or something else along that line.
Other than that I don't find a reason for it.
But it is a women's choice.
Although I am against it.

Raping or molesting a child? I think its wrong. Half the time it ends up in murder. Why would anybody do that to someone? I don't understand it half the time.

I'm iffy on this.
I really don't know how I feel.
I mean, it's bad to kill an unborn baby that doesn't have a chance at life.
But I think it would be awfully hard to give up something you just gave birth to...
Everything would be too hard emotionally if I were the person, so I'd just keep the baby.

It's not like I would go be careless and just have an abortion because I'm pro-choice.

I just don't really see why the fetus should have more rights than the woman.
Accidents happen, rape happens.
I know adoption is always there, but I think that a woman shouldn't be put through the pain of carrying a baby and childbirth, if she's been raped or whatever.

I am pro-choice. That is MY opinion. I understand the other side of the arguement, but my opinion is pro-choice.



And my issue that I am passionate about is;
Global Warming/Environmental Issues.

I think that we have all the resrouces now to take action against global warming and our endangered environment, but some people are just too lazy.
I'm not saying everyone needs to go out and buy fuel-efficient cars, or buy energy-efficient applicances, there are simple, verye asy things we can do to help save our enviroment.

I had to hear a catholic organization talk about it before I realized how I felt on abortion. Some women wrote a book about abortion, and she got a lot of rape cases together to talk about theirs. out of ten, 9 women didn't get it. so they were saying that it should be illegal. I don't think something a private as a woman's womb can be judged by a majority vote. And though 9 women made one choice, it doesn't change the fact that one woman made another, and it doesn't make her choice any less valid. Then they said that 3 out of 10 women regretted their abortion. but seven didn't.

I think abortion should be legalized. I think it would be a bad idea to make it legal for rape cases only, because you'll have women who call rape just to get one, so you'll have to further victimize the real victims to make sure they were actually raped. For their sake, its better to just keep it legal.

Abortions hurt. people don't use them like birth control, like some people think they do. Its a necessity, in this country, in my opinion. Women were having them in back alley's and in closets with coat hangers long before it was legal. Kids were born with severe disabilities and severe deformities. I'd rather someone go to a real doctor and have it done properly, as doing it themselves, and possibly ending more than one life.

i think abortion is horrible i don't care if the mother is in danger the baby is a human just like us even if the doctors say it is fatel it might not be Jesus could work a miracle they happen all the time if you kill a child you are depriving it of a life it could live no matter how small or long and on being raped i hate it is rude and will haunt the woman for ever she is scared by it i think people who do that to others should think what if Jesus was standing there watching you rape a woman or child he would be sad and angry, but people need to remember he is here with us, just not human in human form, if people can remember that every day ,it might help our comunity. oh and on global warming i did some research i personally do not think the earth is getting warmer i think it is getting colder i think that in a couple hundred years or so we might have another ice age that is just my opinion i am not saying if it is right or wrong at all

I am Pro-Choice. The government shouldn't tell you how to live your life, its called freedom for a reason. If you are raped, or a teenager, and it could possible ruin your future then you should be able to get one. I have had friends who are adopted and the process if horrible. Its not the governments lifes, or mine, so I have no say in what people do. If a mom honestly thinks she needs to, I am not in her position, so I cannot judge her or tell her what to do. Yes, it is killing someone, but what happens when the mother is a teen mom, gets thrown out of her house, and her baby is starving to death? Don't think this is true, happened to my moms friend. She ended up having four kids and being homeless. Taking a 6 year old away from their mom because they cannot take care of him/her is not the same as killing a baby who hasn't even breathed air yet. JMHO. And, if we make it illegal, just like what shelby said, people will FIND a way to get it, and we would much rather be giving safe ones than having people being pushed down stairs and having hangers stuck in them.


Another issue I'm big on is Gay/Lesbian rights. I don't think they should be able to get 'married' in a church if the church chooses not to, because thats a religious matter. But, they should be able to get a all the privalages that married couples have and get a marriage license with the government like married couples do.

I'm not christian. I'm not going to base any medical decisions at all off of someone elses religion. And I don't think our laws should be made to match a certain religion, since not all of us are that religion, we all shouldn't have to follow the laws of your religion.

That really caught me. I agree that if they want to be married in a church, the church should approve. But I believe that if they get a legal marriage, and not a spiritual marriage, it should be exactly that. legal. Marriage is a legal institution even more than it is a religious institution. They should have all of the same rights as a heterosexual couple who is married.

Okay, so I'm not sure if you know much about the inner workings of your body, but I do. The fetus gets food, blood, and oxygen from its mother. The fetus can not live without its mother (during the time when an abortion would occur). So if the mother is dying, the fetus dies. no questions asked it can not live. No religious miracle can save a fetus during the first trimester if the mother dies.

So you'd rather have two deaths than one? And most don't even consider a fetus alive until near birth. I, for one, don't believe life begins at conception.
