When I was around 15 I went to the dr to tell him about the terrible cramps I got with my period. What was his advice???

Everyone gets them. Don't worry about it. HUH?

My first gyn just told me to get up and walk them off. I was 14 and my parents took me because I would get so sick from them I would start puking.

One of my friends took her DD to an urgent care clinic for a horrible pain in her jaw. They had given her advil several times, but she kept hurting and crying. When the Dr. walked in, she looked at my friend's DD and said her mouth hurts because she talks in school too much. She just needed to talk less and she would feel better Turned out after visiting another doctor that she had an abcessed tooth.

This past November I had a from my legs up to my neck. It wasn't itchy or anything. I went to my doctor and she looked at it and said "I have no idea what it is or if it's contagious, just wear long sleeves." I thought ok, she's not a dermatologist, I'll just go to one. When I asked her for a referral to one, she said I didn't need it and to just wear the long sleeves so no one can see it. Luckily, one of my mother's friends gave us Cetaphil soap (at least I think that's what it was) and swore by it. And it actually worked!
