Inspired by FOJMO - commuting pet peeves

I take a train to work, and here are my major peeves:

1. people who yap at the top of their lungs on cell phones.
2. people who don't offer their seats to elderly people or obviously pregnant women
3. ringing cell phones
4. people who leave their newspapers on the train when they leave - especially when they throw them on the floor
5. loud cell phone talkers
6. did I mention cell phones?

so, what are some of yours?

People that get in the left lane of the highway and then proceed to drive slower than everyone else around them! Oh, and not using a turn signal. I'm not psychic - if you want over SIGNAL!

Biggest peeve - when the construction signs indicate that one of the lanes is closed and people speed up to cut in front of everyone else.

Ahhhh the joys of BART.... yhich! Plus that lovely BART smell...kind of like sweat and exhaust all mixed into one lovely aroma

My pet peeves are people driving slow in the fast lane...but in my commute the lanes seem to be switched...the fast lane stops and the slow lane becomes the fast lane... very odd

Well if you and Shep are related, I must ALSO be a member of your family because those are MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES ALSO!!!

My other pet peeve is people who drive while not paying ANY attention to what's going on around them and just chatting away on their cell like they are sitting at home on the couch!


And, recently I've seen people who, while driving a 2 ton killing machine in rush hour decide it's a great time to catch up on their favorite book and/or newspaper. ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
