Not sure if it has been pointed out - but the Smithsonian museums are all FREE!

The art museums are all amazing too. Just keep in mind that most of them are HUGE and each one can easily take a day. We did two a day when we went and it was very tiring. Plus then you have the monuments, the Capitol, the National Cathedral, the National Archives, Arlington and so on. We LOVED the Library of Congress. That was such a gorgeous building.

Sigh... I wanna go back!!!
