Inspired by condiment thread..

Not really a condiment but a sprinkle of nutmeg on mashed potatoes is heavenly.

I like chicken fingers with ranch.
I like scrambled eggs with salsa.
I consider these two completely normal, not uncommon at all! :thumbsup2

I like tarter sauce (or ranch) with my fries, too. Guacamole on a tuna sandwich. Dd puts ranch on her pizza.

There is a pizza place in the area with honey on the tables, to put on your crusts. It's really yummy. Some people put it right on their cheese and pepperoni -- I have no desire to try it that way! :rotfl:

Haven't seen this yet and I always get comments, but mayo on grilled cheese is amazing. So yummy, I won't eat grilled cheese without it.

I also love pb & honey sandwiches, they are my favorite.

I saw someone mention cream cheese potatoes. Mashed potatoes are so much better w/cream cheese than with butter.

Also, whenever I get fries in a diner, I have to get gravy to dip them in.

Potato chips with ketchup to dip them in.

Mayo on just about anything and everything, but the ones I can think of off the top of my head that are a bit strange-
Fried egg sandwiches
Peanut butter sandwiches
Grilled cheese sandwiches
French fries
Artichokes
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Asparagus
Hot dogs

Another Texas Pete's only fan!! I love it on eggs and my MIL's rice and pork. When I was pregnant I would drowned just about everything in Texas Pete's. :rotfl:

Turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich. Along the same lines, I like to dip chicken nugget in strawberry or raspberry jam.

My wife thinks turkey and cranberry is disgusting and weird, but turkey is often served with cranberry sauce, so I'm not sure why it would be considered odd.

My favorite is two slices of good whole grain bread, mustard on one side, cream cheese and cranberry sauce on the other side, and nice thick turkey slices in the middle. Mmmm. Now I'm going to have to go buy a turkey just so I can make turkey cranberry sandwiches the next day.

I like ketchup on french toast (no cinnamon or sugar).

I love peach jelly on my grilled cheese sandwich and then dip it in ketchup. Yum!

I'm another one who likes honey on chicken nuggets. And I'll dip french fries in pretty much anything...but usually not ketchup.

::yes:: Isn't that where it came from? Thanksgiving leftovers? We made turkey and cranberry sauce sandwiches with the leftovers when I was a kid. My dad didn't like cranberry sauce and made turkey, mashed potato and gravy sandwiches with his leftovers. I never felt the need to try that one, myself! :rotfl:

Well this isn't actually "on" something, but I let it "run in together" intentionally: I'll make mashed potatoes, cubed steak, and peas - smother the cubed steak with Worcestershire sauce (and a bit of garlic salt) and "allow" the Worcestershire sauce to mix in with the mashed potatoes.. Yum!! :thumbsup2

Just remembered, too, that when my dad would scramble eggs for us on Saturday mornings, we would put grape jelly on them. Turned the eggs a bit green, and I don't know exactly why we thought it tasted good....:confused3

I have three weird things - hot sauce on mac-n-cheese, ketchup on eggs and peanut butter on BLT's (which also has miracle whip on it!)

On the rare occasions we make homemade fries (like once a year), I sprinkle them with: 2 parts vinegar, 1 part salt, 1 part sugar and I part either Mrs. Dash, Montreal Steak or Chicken Spice. They're amazing. The wife begs me to make them more often, but I decline.

Also, whether or not there are any pancakes (and there usually aren't any), I like maple syrup on salty sausage.

That's about it.

I don't eat mayo or ketchup at all. I used to eat mustard sandwiches as a kid a lot, ew...

I dip my fries in bbq sauce
I dip my fried chicken in hot sauce OR mashed potatoes
I like my bacon or sausage with maple syrup
Buttermilk chicken drizzled with honey-new one I tried at a restaurant in TN, loved it, order my chicken less gravy with a side of honey now. My mama and dh loved it this way too.
I pour malt vinegar over fresh cut fries then dip in cheese sauce

My dd is even weirder:
Chicken nuggets in chocolate milkshake if no ranch
Bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit with grape jelly

Dh used to do the grossest thing when I was preggo- ketchup & mayo in his spaghetti (smelled horrible!), got him out of it then found out his mom does it to. He mixes ranch dressing in about everything.

Honey on chicken nuggets...french fries...toast....yummmm... :goodvibes

Me too! Everyone always looks at me strange at McDonalds when I ask for honey with my mcnuggets...then they say, "Honey Mustard right" and I have to say "No honey (in the small packages)" It is so yummy!

I dip my french fries in BBQ sauce 99% of the time. I like McDonald's sauce the best because it's sweet, but any works.
Ketchup on my cheesesteak, grilled cheese, and plain ol' cheese sandwich.

Some of these combinations are really blech but here's mine and you might think the same of me :goodvibes

Peanut butter on waffles and covered in syrup. I learned this at a sleepover as a kid and absolutely loved it. I haven't had this in a long time though!!!

i used to mix mayo and ketchup to dip mcdonald's fries in.

peanut butter on side of bowl of vanilla ice cream. each bite gets a little of each!

passion fruit with vanilla ice cream

vanilla ice cream on waffles

dill pickles dipped in ketchup

dd likes sour cream on lasagna

ex used to eat cereal (any kind) with choc. milk and ice cream in it

dd also dips wendy's fries and chicken nuggets in choc. frosty instead of ketchup or dip
