I donated what I could to the Red Cross and I will continue to donate any extra funds.
That being said, I do not flame her for her post about race. I agree that there would be white looters too, but because of the amount of African Americans in NO, black looters are what we are seeing.
I am worried about where these people will go when they are evacuated and what they will do to our cities. I am also worried about the prison/jail that people are out of. Where are they going to go and how safe are we going to be? This tragedy will play on for months or years...in many ways. I just wish that people would realize that fellow Americans want to help and they just need to accept our help and be thankful and not do what they are doing. It is terribly sad.
