Inspired by Castaway Cay... pumpkins!

I admit it... we're a little crazy after our cruise this summer. Thought some of you might like to see our Halloween pumpkins.

Did you use the Disney pumpkin making kit with stencils or are you very talented doing it free hand...either way great job...they look wonderful!!!

We got our stencil kits through the Disney store website. They're probably having a big sale if there are any left right now!

That's correct. The stencils come in a set of twenty - the usual suspects, plus Pooh and friends, a couple princesses, Stitch, and several villains. A bunch of "safe" carving tools are also included. They are from Disneystore.com (now Disneydirect.com). We tried to get them last year, but waited too long. Got them in August this year. We just make copies of the stencils, so they can be used again in subsequent years, since the technique involves jabbing a pin right through the paper into the pumpkin.

We've used free patterns from the internet for the last couple of years (I'm at work or I'd post pictures). You can find some Disney patterns by searching for free Disney pumpkin patterns on Google or try some of these sites

All of them have free templates you can download and print.
