I was reading through 'Bonjour de France' and it inspired me to post a thread!
How many languages do you speak?
What is your favourite language?

I speak a little bit of Spanish. I'm taking French now. and English is my first language.

I speak two languages. English and French.
I definitely love French, and think I may try Spanish next year if there isn't another grade 11 course that I could take early.
I'm not really fond of languages that seem to look like a bunch of letters smushed together... I just find them frightening.
The first language I learned to speak was French. I've been taking it since I was 6.

I forgot the dreaming thing.
Yes, I have dreamt in French. While not all my thoughts and such were in French, the majority of the people in my dream were speaking French to me, and I was answering back in French.

I can't speak any different languages but I'm planning on learning Spanish, Japanese, French, and perhaps German.
The only language we have at our school is Spanish.

When I was little I had a bunch of different European aupairs, so up until the time I was around 6, I knew Swedish, German, and Ducth.
Now I don't remember them so well, but I can recognize key words and phrases, and it would be really easy for me to relearn them.

How many languages do you speak? 2 French and English in equivalent (I'm just less confident about my french) along with about 5 others that I can spout random phrases in. I know enough German and Spanish to get by if I ever stayed over in either country.

It's gotta be asked...have you ever dreamt in a different language!? Yes, actually. I was in Paris speaking french, but everybody answered in english. it was strange.
And go on..say something in a different language! Bonjour! Je m'appelle Patti mais en les Disboards, je m'appelle Axel. J'ai 16 ans. Je suivi la classe de francais V a mon ecole. Je parle beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup de francais dans cette classe. Mon professeur est de Royaume Uni et il a un accent, mais nous comprendons bien qu'il dit. J'aime l'art et l'histoire. J'ai un classe de chimie et un classe des maths aussi, mais je ne les aime pas. J'ai un classe de literature americain, aussi, et j'aime la classe- c'est mon prof qui je deteste!

and just in case anybody is curious I know how to say every swear word, "handsome", "sister", "thank you", and "understand me" in Mandarin Chinese. If you speak to me in German or Spanish, I will likely respond in french with the appropriate response. That's how we do it on my volleyball team. Our coach is a spanish teacher and she'll yell at us in Spanish so we yell back in french and german! We also take turns counting off in our languages during stretches. One girl (who is sadly a senior) speaks fluent polish so she always had to count by herself!

How many languages do you speak? English and Greek fluently and I can get by with Spanish and some French.
What is your favourite language? Not sure..but I like how Greek sounds a lot.

I basically learned Spanish off my friends and such. I can speak it well. French I know so-so. Not that much, it just caught on.
