Inspired by Blisters Thread - Chafing?

This product is fabulous! ::yes:: I have been using it for the last month and it works great. I use it on the inner thigh area, underarms and under the bottom of my bra...this skin of my underarms is actually feminine again! :bounce: Okay, I am sure that was too much information, but it really works and a little goes along way. I'm still on the first tube and will probably make it through the first week or two of August.

I think you can get a free sample at the website...if not I buy it at Walmart and it costs about $6 - $7.

This stuff is a miracle! It's on sale for $3.99 at Walgreen's this week (at least in MA, I don't know if they all have the same sales).

Thanks! I didn't even look at the Walgreens ad this Sunday...but hey, I've got 3 coupons for $1 or $2 off so it'd be a great deal.

Bodyglide..... that's the way to go.

I have CP so I drag my damn foot, and in previous years I had a terrible time with blisters. One year there was no skin left on either of my arches by the time we left orlando. That was until I discovered bodyglide!

I applied it on the bottom and sides of both feet and also in between each toe. It's a little greasy at first and will only wash off with soap. Then it sort of seals itself dry on your skin. For me only one application per day worked fine.

And it works great in the upper thigh area as well.

Laugh O Grams: Just where did you think this was being administered :rotfl2: I got a visual of your pondering mind when reading your post and :crazy2:

Just tried out the Monistat Chafing powder/gel on our trip. It was awesome! I definitely recommend it.

About 5 years ago we went to Disney in August and me and Dgrandfather (my dad) experienced that problem. Needless to say we were walking rather strangely at the end of the long day until thankful relief from VASELINE PETROLEUM JELLY!!! Now we always ask each other did you pack the vaseline before any trip. :rotfl2:
Another way to prevent it is to not go to Disney in the heat of summer (October, November and December are wonderful!!!!) :goodvibes

Actually, the last time I went was in October of 2002. The temp was in the upper 80s, and I experienced quite a bit o' the ol' chafing after riding Kali River Rapids fairly early in the day, subsequently getting soaked to the bone, and then walking around the park for another three or four hours. I looked (and felt) like I had just got back from a particularly long trail ride. :rolleyes1

I purchased some Body Glide on Amazon.com, and am hoping that does the trick this trip.
