I picked mine up in the Hostess section of the grocery store.

Ok, I didn't wash my hair this morning. I showered, but didn't have time for the hair. I was sooooo sleepy and was afraid I would be late meeting up with someone. So now I have just a little while before we need to be at the field for a game. And its not enough time to wash my hair and dry it. UGH! Can't wait till after the game to get it washed. I have no clue how that chick at work goes months without washing. :confused3

I have never seen a chocodile either. And I am intimately familiar with the Hostess section... ;)

I saw Pirates today. Yes, yes, you can applause. I LEFT MY HOUSE. Good for me. Then I threw up at Wal-Mart and came back home. :rotfl:

Joy!!

This kid had better be AWESOME. :lmao:

Glad you left your house Beck! I can't wait to see that movie.

OT - I went out yesterday with an old friend and had a great time. We went for drinks by the beach and walked the main street and had the most yummy cupcakes at the Cupcake store. To die for. Then we went to a party. A friend of his is moving cross country so it was a going away party. I soooo needed a good party. We drank till the wee hours of the morning. Great time. Very odd group of people though. And not odd in a bad way though. Just different. I was the only girl there for the first few hours of the party. I had a great time though. It was fun to go out like I used to before I had the sweetpea. And good news, no hang over today.

It is always a great day when you don't have a hangover after a rockin' night!

Mz Diz, I sent you a pm!

We aren't a clique. Cliques are exclusive and shun others. We WELCOME others! Like Mz. Diz who should share more. :)

And I tried to send you one back.... but I can't. Someone's too popular and has a full in-box. :rolleyes1

Nice to see you're still around!

I'm in the mood for dessert. Anyone want to bring me some? Damn, if I only had a chocodile!

I'm banning the talk of chocodiles until I have tried one. It is infuriating to hear about their chocolatey goodness knowing full well I can't have one. :p

I think MIL is going to throw SIL and me a joint baby shower. Should be interesting. I feel bad for the people coming, though- that could be expensive. :sad2:

The reasoning behind it is this: SIL doesn't really want a shower. DOesn't want to be the center of attention and feels bad because her baby is due around Christmas and she feels awkward about people having to buy her a gift right before Christmas... BUT- she sort of mentioned last night (when I told her MIL was teasing (sort of) about a joint shower) that she'd be more willing to have a shower if it was a joint shower... Takes all eyes off her that way, anyway. She's pretty shy.

So, I told MIL I was fine with it if that's what she wants to do. She was really upset that SIL didn't want a shower- so now it works for everyone.

But- MIL asked what we should do about SIL's family and my family, and I told her personally, I don't think they should be invited- wouldn't that be weird? I mean, if my family came they'd feel obligated to get Nicole a gift and her family might feel obligated to get me a gift. I figure our families can plan their own shower- it'll be better that way anyway- my mom and my MIL don't really get along, and neither do SIL's mom and our MIL (TRUST me- it's not a problem with my MIL; we just have crazy mothers).

So- what do you think? Would you feel put-out by going to a joint shower? Everyone invited will be our husband's families/MIL's friends or whoever. Everyone invited will know both of us.

And then, if our families want to throw us their own shower, they can do so. Does that sound like a good compromise? Have I rambled too much and been totally confusing?

A joint shower might make it easier for the family. They would only have to clear up one day to attend and see both of you. My SIL and I had a joint shower. The sweetpea and my oldest nephew are only 6 weeks apart. I couldn't imagine having all the family come down one day for my shower, and then a few weeks later come back for SIL. It worked out well for everyone involved. Both she and I had separate showers as well. I was given one by friends and at work. And she was given another by her side of the family.

Ok- when you put it that way, it does sound better.

SIL and I are due 8 weeks apart, so we're really close together too, I was just worried that people might be like, "Oh, great, I have to buy 2 gifts."

But really, they'd have to either way- because my shower would just end up being a month later or so. I think the joint shower will be fun.

SIL and I are already planning a December 2008 trip to WDW. I think we've talked Grandma and Grandpa into coming along (to watch, er, visit, their grandkids). :teeth:

How's the morning sickness coming along?

You mean the morning-noon-&-night-no-relief sickness? Yeah. I've been better.

All day long with the nauseated feeling! UGH! Tonight I'm doing ok. Generally, I feel awful from the time I wake up until about 5-6 pm, when it slacks off a little bit.

I just wish I knew something I could do to "fix" it, you know? I'm a problem solving kinda gal, but I just can't find a solution. :guilty:

Its my understanding that the term of morning sickness doesn't necessarily mean in the morning, it has to do with the early stage of pregnancy.

Wish I had some help to offer you. But I never got any morning sickness.

Ok. I don't. :goodvibes But I wish I didn't have it either, and I'm just selfish enough to think that if I have to feel miserable, everyone should. :rotfl:

And they should still call it something besides "morning" sickness. I'm sure a man coined the phrase.

It's like being sea-sick or motion-sick ALL DAY. Just on the edge of hurling, all day long. :sad2:

Don't hate! I may not have had morning sickness. But I get crappy migraines that cause me to vomit for no given reason. At least you will get a baby out of all your barfing. All I got was broken blood vessels in my face and eye, and the need to vomit more. I would have taken morning sickness over the migraine nasuea because eventually the morning sickness will stop. My migraines continue, always.

I dont see how bulimics can handle all the vomiting :confused3

I with you on that one. I hate it when I get vomit worthy migraines. I got those really bad when I was a teenager and into my early 20's. I think taking preventitive meds helped. I still get migraines but not nearly the severity that they were.

Becky  I hope your all day vomiting ends soon. Have you tried the pressure point bracelets? I have a friend that had morning sickness for 7 months and she said those bracelets helped her.

I have heard those bracelets work well. Also heard that keeping the saltines handy works. Too bad chocodiles dont work for that.
