I got a new tag. And I went over 100 (109) in bowling, which is my personal best!

And DH came home so, there was...something that kinda rhymes with "best" for me, too.

And the sun shined, even if it was chilly.

its rainy nasty cooler expecting strong storms later, dd is at a friends house, dw's back is hurting from all her rolling on the floor after being tagged, ( ok actually, its hurting from trying to do something she shouldnt have at work last week, but the rolling is fuinnier) so far today is rotten, but on the bright side,, our friends from miss. ( chuckB onhere) are coming to visit, my parents are in town for the day, and there is absolutely no teanage drama at ourt house this morning. and after drinking my first beer in three yeras,, no hang overs either.

I have Alicea and Ariyana for the weekend! Last night we made homemade pizza, baked a cake with birthday candles for the dog- because no one else is having a birthday and they insisted on blowing out candles, and we watched movies.

Today dh has them watching Star wars and playing with all his little star wars toys.

And May 28th has officially been moved up.... To April 28th!! (my birthday will remain the same, however).

And my hair is chopped off- it's all kinda choppy sexy. Lovin it.

But- I better get back to seeing what the kiddos are up to! Peace out. (hehe)

Yep, rainy days and Mondays always get me down. Plus, its the Illeagl immigrant boycott day. Its going to make things around my area pretty rough. We already know a few employees who work for vendors who are contracted with my company said they wont be delivering/picking up that day. Plus, the traffic will be crazy. It was the last time they had a rally. It will be interesting to see what happens in the schools that day and who really participates or not. But Im dreading it because seeing all that crap on TV makes me sick. Especially when things are blown out of porportion or made to see other than what it is. And it disgusts me when its made out to be a race issue. If I get called a racists one more time I will scream. Especially when Im told that I just dont like Mexicans. Hello morons!! Im Mexican. Just because I dont look like it, or Im told I dont act like it (whatever that means) doesnt mean Im not Mexican. And sure as heck, Im not a racist.

Ok, venting now over. Sorry.

Ok, got to get going. Have a hair appt in a few....getting a new color I think. And then when I get back got to get ready for my date tonight.

Ok, so its not even midnight and Im already back from my date. Not only am I back, but Ive been watching the news and I have already put on my jammies. That should tell you how well it went.

He's not a bad guy, but it just wasnt there. I will give him props though. I told him if he wanted to go out with me tonight he needed to go to church with me first. So he did. Only to find out after on the way to dinner that he is a non practicing jew. I didn't know. But good of him to go with me anyways.

He picked me up and was way over dressed. He wore dress pants, button down shirt and a tie. I was wearing flip flops for crying out loud. Even someone at church asked him why he was so dressed up. He looked nice though. So we went to church, dinner, a movie, and then came back here and watched a little tv. Nothing exciting to speak of.

I still think he is a mama's boy and I really dont see this going anywhere but us being friends. I had fun though and feel comfortable getting back out there dating again.

I thought there was no chemistry between mark and me- I was actually going to dump him but my mom and friends convinced me that I was wishy-washy and picky, and told me to stick it out for a while- and I married him.

I would rather dump someone than deal with commitment and dating.

I am going to try to highlight my own hair today...got a box of my 'natural' (haha) color for the roots and medium ash blonde to put some streaks in.

I had it done professionally about 4 months ago and really liked having blonde highlights, but it was $75! That is lot for hair in Nebraska!

Yeah, I kinda figured thats the same reason he went with me to church. He's a guy. He's a big mama's boy and he told me that she was worried that I was trying to convert him. I didn't think I was trying to convert him at all. Just thought he might need a little church in his life. And plus, church is a big part of my life so if you want to be in my life, you got to be in church as well.

The whole dressing up thing was kinda funny though. I told him that my church was really casual and that saturday nights were even more casul. When he picked me up I teased him about it. He laughed and basically said he was trying to make a good impression. What was really funny was that someone asked him why he was so dressed up during the service. We both started cracking up.

But there just is no chemistry. We met a few years back and hung out a couple of times. But its just not there. Over the years he has asked me to go out many many time and the whole time I was with my ex bf he continued to ask me out saying to just give him a chance and once I was single to go out with him. Its just not there though. I know he is really into me and I dong want to hurt his feelings, but I just dont see myself dating him.

My family thinks Im crazy and that he would be a great catch. They also think Im mean to him and told me to be nice. They would love to see me dating him. I think I just want to be friends.

So I ask once again....anyone know any cute, tall, single men in so cali who love Disney?

I almost forgot to tell everyone, I got my hair colored yesterday before my date. Its a deeper shade of red now and I have some highlights. Just a few blond ones. Im happy with the color right now. Im just dreading when it starts to fade.

The sweetpea is home from camp. She says she had a great time, but it exhausted. She was only gone the weekend, but I missed her. Glad she is home.
