Ever see the Blue Collar Comedy Tour? (You can get it on DVD) He is with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bill Engvall.

If you have never seen it, definitely worth checking out. Ron White is hysterical.

And 'tater salad will never be the same to you. :rotfl:

You go, dude! :thumbsup2 That movie made no sense to me after just booze.

It made perfect sense after eating some fungus.

did I just admit that on the DIS?

a peanut butter and 'shroom sandwich has a way of making the entire world make perfect sense. :)

That just sounds like such an unappetizing way to enjoy a movie. :confused3 I prefer brownies (well, used to :rotfl2: )

I have a funny brownie storie, but it's not DIS friendly...another day, another time, another place. ;) in a galaxy far, far away. :rotfl2: My poor straightlaced then boyfriend, now husband. He should never complain about me--he knew what he was marrying! :rotfl:

And yes, I'm straightlaced now!!!

hmm do we have pictures of those "laces" i'm not so sure there arent still acouple of them twisted there in the back....

Good Morning. Ok- afternoon, but since I just woke up a little over an hour ago, I'm going with morning.

Sounds like I missed the fun on Saturday night!

MW- your house sounds like my family's- my nieces that I'm taking to WDW, they aren't really my "nieces" in the blood relation sense; my mom just raises them because their mom is ghetto/irresponsible/clueless/into trouble. And, it's easier to explain them as my nieces than go through the whole long story- plus, I love them like they are my nieces, so.. ? It IS always funny though, when Mark and I take them places- we get the strangest looks- the girls are 1/2 black, 1/4 white, and 1/4 mexican, and could NOT be more beautiful!!! But- people always look at us like how did they come up with those kids? Too funny.

Alas, I missed all the fun because I was at a charity trivia fundraiser for a lady in our town who needs a 2nd kidney transplant- the first one didn't work. :sad2: We raised a lot of money, and ate a lot of junk! I had never done this before, I went as a substitute because Mark's uncle is out of town and his Aunt needed a partner, and we roped my SIL into going too! We had fun.

Anywho, I'll miss the fun again dh and I have a "date." So, everyone have a good Sunday!! :wave2:

That reminds me of what I'm planning on doing tomorrow. We're going to Kings Dominion for the day, an amusement park a couple of hours away in Virginia. It's open tomorrow for season passholders only and each passholder can bring a guest. My 2 older boys are each bringing a friend and each happens to be bringing a boy who is black (and we are as light skinned as we could be, especially after a long winter :) ).

When we go in to get our pass photos I figure the person at the gate will either try to be P/C and will ask which boys are my sons, in which case I will point out their friends or they will assume correctly which are my boys and I will then try (with a straight face, as if I can pull that one off ;) ) to ask why they assume that those are my sons.

Of course the reality is that I won't be able to pull any of this off unless I happen to be in the right mood, but if I am, watch out. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

T&B- that would be hysterical.

What's funny is- even people who have known dh and I as a couple for years-( we've been together about 5 1/2 years (longer than the oldest niece has been alive)) will ask if I had two kids?! Like I went out and cheated on dh twice to produce these two kids. Uh- no. We just cart them around with us everywhere because they are fun to hang out with.

Honestly- I think there are no funner people on earth than kids between the ages of about 3 and 6. They are SO much fun.

Although, this opinion could DRASTICALLY change after I drive to and from WDW with them in about a month! :lmao: That is the only thing I'm even remotely nervous about, is the DRIVE. I'm almost 25, but get me in a car for over 4 hours and I turn into a whiny child: "Are we there yet? I'm hungry. I'm tired. I can't sleep. It's too sunny. It's too rainy. How much longer."

Maybe I'm not worried about them as much as I am about ME!

Why don't people assume that you adopted the kids? :rotfl2: That would most certainly be my first assumption if I knew how long you'd been married.

When people tell me that I don't look old enough to have a DD in college (doesn't happen as often as I'd like :rotfl: ) I tell them that she's my husband's from his first marriage, which is true. I just don't tell them that I'm his first marriage and he's mine. And we weren't even that young having kids--I was 27 and he was 28.

I don't know why people don't assume we've adopted! But seriously, they always ask if I had kids!! Not that I wouldn't adopt them if I could!!

And you are too ornery!!! Telling people she's your husband's from his first marriage. Absolute genius.

Nobody OT tonight?

Hmmm.

The Gateway Grizzlies, semi-pro Baseball in St. Louis, have a new addition to their menu this summer.

The Krispy Kreme Burger. Uh-huh. Because a regular burger with everything just wasn't bad enough!!! SOO, in response to that crisis, the people at the Grizzlies' stadium will be selling burgers that have Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts in place of regular buns...

GooooooooooOOOOOOO MIDWEST!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
:rotfl2:
