Good afternoon all. I'm making homemade chicken and noodles! YUM- the comfort food thread inspired me! Plus, it's all rainy and stormy out, and it is supposed to be all day- nothing like curling up with a bowl of chicken and noodles, some yeast rolls (I cheated on those- but I found frozen ones that are almost as good as my homemade ones, which is actually kinda sad, given the amount of time and effort I have to put it) and watching a movie!

Soooo. I need to do my senior project for school. I am not in school, and on a technicality, I graduated and got my BS, however, I took an incomplete for my senior project (long story). I have one year to finish it or it will go down as a failing grade and I won't get my diploma, and I'll have to re-enroll for this whole stupid thing for the two stupid credit hours I need to graduate. And I have been putting this d*mn thing off for, oh, about 10 1/2 months now, partially because I have major anxiety issues, partially because I'm a total idiot.

So, anyway. Now I actually have to get it done, or I'll fail it. And then I'll have to re-apply to school, re-enroll for my senior project (pay for the class over).... WHY DO I DO THESE THINGS?

OK. I worked out at Curves. And I did 40 crunches. I haven't done a crunch (unless it was a candy bar) in years.

We're supposed to get storms tonight, and the stupid weather people can't figure out if they are going to be bad or not so bad, or if they'll even hit us at all, or when. Which makes me nervous- because my dog refuses to go in the basement, and she is too big for me to argue with her! It oughtta be a sight tonight! Hopefully dh gets home before it (maybe) gets bad.

Speaking of dh- prayers and PD would be appreciated! He put a bid in for an opening on 1st shift!! Which means no more 3:30-midnight!!!! He applied for it last time they had an opening, and they told him he got it! I was elated! THEN- his HR guy was like, OOPS- I didn't know these two other guys put in for it and they have more seniority! DOesn't that suck? Anywho- hopefully, he'll get it for real this time, and all will be so much better!!!

Becky, I swear you could be my sister...or at least a cousin. I put every school thing off until the very last minute and then went nuts. Mostly because I never cared about the crap I was writing about. Good Luck!

I'm so torn...I want your DH to get the shift, but don't wanna lose you to something stupid like real life. I have learned that I can watch TV, yell at the kids to clean up (or do homework, or go to bed), and still type. Sometimes I can do it all and talk on the phone, too! I hope you can acquire these skills as well.

And look at me! I got an egg! Can't wait to see what'll hatch! (I'm becoming more pathetic by the minute.)
