Inspired by being a thread highjacker- the OT thread!

My, I missed quite an interesting conversation last night. :rotfl2:

Good afternoon all!! Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

Last night after I got off the computer, I was closing some windows in the house, and I twisted just right to throw out my back!! ARG! It is feeling a bit better, but still hurts. On the plus side- I am taking this as permission to rest, relax, and NOT cut the grass today!

And I recieved confirmation from mother nature that we definitely are not pregnant yet. :lmao: I didn't expect it to happen right away, but a little piece of me was hanging on to a hope. :teeth: Maybe we need more practice... ;) :rotfl:

I ordered my bare essentials from Sephora (I LOVE that website)- and then, since I only had to spend $15 more to get free shipping, I ordered Philosophy Lemonade body wash/shampoo. Yum-O. I'm gonna smell like summer! :sunny:

Afternoon, all! I'm going to see Keifer on the big screen! I heard the movie stinks, but I'm hoping not. I'll let you know. Either way, it's an hour and a half of Keifer. But that's STILL biding my time until the TOBY movie comes out. Only one kid wants to go with. They all think I'm a dork. :)

It is raining in Cleveland, so good day for a flick!

(I hate football.) :)

:)

I heard it stinks, too- and I soo want it not to. Tell me if it's good!

I don't want to see anything at my local theater. Blah. I'm thinking about going to rent a movie tonight, but I doubt I'll do it- my back hurts and the thought of driving doesn't sound like fun.

Interesting, I heard a review on it last week that said it was good. :confused3

I just saw Ella Enchanted over the weekend with the girls- that movie is too cute. Alicea (5) loved it!!

The girls are getting so excited to leave for our trip, and so am I!! I keep going over packing lists- I just know I will forget something important. Like the camcorder. I have started piling things in rubbermaid containers that we need to pack so it's all in one spot.

Ugh. I hate making dinner just for me. It seems like a total waste of time and energy.

Plus, I have no idea what to make.

Well, I had toasted ravioli for dinner. It was ok- better than PB&J... I am just in no mood to cook! Not for myself anyway. If you all came over I'd whip up a meal.

I'm feeling rather grumpy- not sure if it's pms sorts of stuff or what. I need a nap,but at 9:30 pm, it's kinda past nap time.

My FIL just called a little while ago. Seems he and MIL get to go to Rome!! How exciting! Their preist is paying for FIL's trip (he is very active in church) and they just have to pay for MIL's part!! They even get a private meeting with the Pope! I'm not Catholic, but I know that's a big deal! FIL said they were going getme a Papal blessing- I asked, "Do they give those to heathens?" And he said, "It might cost more to get YOU one!" :lmao: I love my in-laws.

You are so lucky to get along with your inlaws. I had an hamburgler on the grill for dinner and now I have indigestion. *burp*

The Sentinel stunk!!!!! I'm really hard on movies - don't like many. But I think anyone would agree that this one stunk. My son thought so, too.

But he liked the hot dog and nachos. :)

I can't even remember the last movie I went to see. I think it was Walk the Line or Harry Potter 3, I can't remember. I want to go see the new XMen movie and the new Pirates movie when they come out.

Becky,
You are SOOO lucky to love your in-laws. I mean, I love my in-laws too, but I don't always like them, haha!
Now, my parents are perfect (even more laughter). Just don't ask my hubby!

Ash- I get along with my inlaws better than my own parents (of course, my parents are crazy) but I am lucky- I hear horror stories from people and I thank God I can't relate!

And MW- that's not what I wanted to hear. Blah. The previews looked good, but everyone keeps saying how bad it is.

Becky, they're saying it is bad because it IS bad. Wait to rent it, if you must.

I prefer in-law mom to real one! :)

Ktpool- see: I got not great parents at birth. My inlaws are God saying, "Sorry I put you through all that- here's a new set" :lmao: :lmao:

I want to see Xmen and Pirates, too!! Those will be big. Xmen comes out the weekend of my birthday I think.

My MIL called me the morning of Christmas Eve to tell me what a horrible, dispicable person I am, and that she wanted to call my mother and tell her what kind of person her daughter REALLY was. I got so mad that I kicked a hole in the wall. I haven't spoken to her since.

Here, here. Me too.

And I will wait to rent it- if I get around to seeing it at all. There are a ton of movies that I intend to see, and I just never bother to rent them.
