We are surprising our 2 eldest grandkids (their baby brother too small this time!). I have a scavenger hunt planned for Fri. Sept.15th. That's how they will find out they are going. Just me, DH and the 2 kids...without their parents. We are going to spoil them rotten!!! We are staying at POFQ, with the free dining and will be attending our first MNSSHP. I also got lunch at CRT, although my DGD is "so not a princess". She'll pick the sword, not the magic wand. All the better to battle her brother with. We are SO excited and it is SO hard to keep it secret. I'm glad to see this thread and who else is going. I'll have my lime green mickey head on my fanny pack.See you there!

ScrappinGran- That is such a good idea a scavenger hunt!! Wow, that is pretty cool. I know they will love that. They will be so very excited!! What great grandparents!! That is what I want to be like. Whenever, I am blessed with grandbabies!!

We are going on surprise trip to as sports/as movies 9/16-9/23.

Boys have never been to wdw and think they may be going in 4-5 years. I will be taking 8 y/o out of school that morning and we will have a treasure hunt at the grandparents house before going to the airport. I can't wait to see the look on their faces. The secret suspense is just killing me though.

We'll be at Pop Sept. 14th - 22nd!!!!!! Attending/organizing the 2 Pop 'meets/parties'!! The 16th is up to approx. 90ppl and the 20th, approx. 60ppl!!!! I'm sure we'll actually end up with half these numbers, but it's going to be such a blast regardless!!!

Oh, my gosh-you're living one of my dreams-taking your grandchildren to WDW! You sound so excited. I can't wait to be a grandmother and take my grandchildren to WDW. Unfortunately, though, DS just got married and no grandchildren yet. Have a wonderful time (although I'm sure you will anyways). Maybe I'll see ya there.

Js09- I confiscated my green mickey heads. 4 months ago from a local home depot. But now, they are missing. I was going to go without them, but maybe I will go and pick somemore up.

There are more meets planned for the week after those too. I am there 9/20-29, so I am attending the one on the 20th, but there are a few more the next week. Check the meet board... also check the resorts board and the countdowns board. Lots and lots of people planning stuff for the first week of Oct.

That's a shame I do believe that Disneymommymichelle has organized a couple of meets towards the end of Sept. at Pop Century!! Maybe check out her dates!!

Carolfoy, that is the ride I was looking so forward to. I was on the community board, and a lady there was explaining how she hurt her leg on the ride, and is now going to the doctor. She also claims so many people have hurt thier backs on this ride too. I never heard anything about people getting injured on EE. So, I was convinced I wasnt going to ride it. I dont want to be hurt. But, in a discussion with my son. He pretty much assured me, we will have to do it together. I believe everything will be fine.
