Do you like your name?

-----

I remember always hating my name.
I always wanted to have a normal name, like Brianna or Elizabeth.
I hated the name 'Sonya Nicole'.
I even went through a phase when I had everyone call me Nicky, from my middle name.
I got over it because there were too many Nicole's/Nikki's in my school.
Now,I love my name.
No one has it,but it does get frustrating when people can't pronounce it.

Yeah.. I'd have to say I like my name.. Not a lot of people who live around where I live have that name with the same spelling. :)

My name is Cory which is predominitly a boy's name and I used to hate it. Now I've found a lot of empowerment in it. My parent's are actually really smart haha.

It means 'hollow' too which is kind of cool.

Eh. I just don't like the fact that's a unisex name. My name was going to be Ariel, but now it's just my middle name.

Eh, I used to hate my name. In elementary school I wanted people to call me Michele (my middle name). I even told strangers my name was Daisy. :p

Now, it's me. I can't imagine myself with any other name.

Jenny is...me. Yeah.

i like my name. Though i don't like my middle name (well my second middle name...) and also my last name...

my sisters hate their names. One is called Eleanor but likes to be called Ellie (call her Eleanor and she'll yell at you...) and my other sister is called Charlotte but likes to be called Mitzi. (called her Charlotte and prepare to be hit...)

i like my middle name 1000000x better than my first name.
LILLIAN.
it's SO pretty.

but i'm alright with Caitlin.

when i was little i always wanted to change it, but i like it.

I used to hate my name. Nobody would have it. Now I love it but I hate how everyone can't pronounce it. As hard as they tried, they just can't! It's annoying.
*cough*
But yeah...I like my name now. :]

My name's kind of plain. Molly Elizabeth. Everyone my age either has Elizabeth, Marie, or Lyn as their middle name. But only like 3 people in my school have my first name.

I love old british names. Well, not OLD, but like Emma, Jane, Charlotte (Charlie for short), and Alice. I'm weird like that. I remember having a favorite names thread a while back.

Today in my Human Relations class we were talking about how names go through cycles because we just made our family trees and we saw how names reappeared.

I used to absolutely HATE my name when I was younger. Alyssa Nicole. I felt like noone had that name and it was just blahh. I was kind of disappointed no celebrities had it till I found Alyssa Milano. But that's all I've seen so far. When I was younger, I pretended my name was Victoria. Haha.

Now, I'm kind of annoyed. There are 10 Alyssa's in my grade! Is so annoying..I wish I had a more...original name.

I was supposed to be a boy? Haha, I don't know how that makes sense but whatever I don't ask. And was supposed to be named Christopher Michael.

My mommeh was gonna name me Kevin if I was a boy.

no, i dont. caitlin is way too common. wherever i go, i hear 'kate!' or 'katie' or 'caitlin!' and now, ive stopped turning around, because its almost never me. now when it is, i dont turn around and people have to run and catch up with me. i hate it.

I lovee my first name, Bridget, it's like so me it like describes me, it's like a name of a royal person at least what I think of it. or a Princesses name. but when I was younger I HATEDD it and I mean hated. but catherine ehh, it's fine for a middle name but I don't think I'd want it for my first name.

I hate my name. It's not common, but it's so boring. Patricia. Ugh.

Totally want to change my name to Riley.

I'm okay with my name. I mean, it gets kind of annoying when you're walking down the halls and someone yells, "Hey Amber!" and you don't know who they're yelling for. But you get used to it.

We actually had a conversation at school about who we look like. Like how certain names fit a person. Apparently I am either a Jane, Elizabeth, or Emma. Which I thought was really cool, since they're all related to Jane Austen. I wouldn't mind any of them.

I was actually supposed to be Megan, but there was an argument over how it would be pronounced. Regularly or Mee-gan. :confused3

Kayla.
Eh.
It's ok.

I wish my name was Melony though...
Or Lillian. Or Carson.

But I love my middle name. =)
