I don't know, ask me when I'm eighty! ;)

Living in fear. Living with someone you fight with. Worrying too much about keeping up with the Jones's. Just to name a few things.:D

Living in misery. When you live each day wishing you were doing something else - that's a waste.

Worrying about choices that have been made in the past. You can only change things going forward so dwelling on the past gets you nowhere.

My favorite quote, from the musical RENT, is "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss." It's how I try to live each and every day.

Waiting for "When...." Like, "When I'm thinner I'll....", "When the kids are older I'll.....", "When my next raise comes I'll......", etc.

You get the drift. Sometimes "when" never comes but you've wasted an awful lot of time waiting for it.

I think that is something that each person would have to define on their own when they get to the end of their life.

Agree with all the other posts. Waiting for when... Spending alot of time not doing what you love, not being with people you love/enjoy. Missing important opportunities.
