Inserting a watermark, (c) simpilest way

I wonder if there is a simple way to insert on my pic's a watermark, or siggy in the lower corner. The only software I have used is the Kodak that came with the camera, and Picasa 3.
I do not have Adobe, not unless something is installed, I think there is a microsoft program on the computer.

I had someone ask for prints of winter scenes and I really would like to protect the image.

i don't use either of your programs but i am guessing you have something that does text? if so the only way i know of would be make another copy of the photo, add the text to the bottom corner of that copy ( usually there is a T or something for a text tool, you make a box the size you want or however your program anchors the text to the correct position, position it and type in the text,usually around 50% opacity but it really doesn't make much difference since it's not going to be there on the good copy ) then send that copy since i am guessing your kodak software doesn't have a water mark(in phs elements you can do it in batch process under file, it should say something in your help if you have that option). you can add it to a layer if your software has that ability but you still need to either save a clean unmarked copy or don't flatten the image so you can delete the watermarked layer later. i'd make the copy just in case i forgot and flattened

the other option would be send a low resolution copy. i sell my stuff on imagekind and that is what they do so you don't destroy the look of the image with a big watermark they can crop off anyway unless it's smack dab in the middle of the photo . i think the photo would be like 2x3 inches if they tried to print it

You can add a watermark with Picasa.
