Insert something witty PTR for May 2015 Update:New Shirts

Inspired by Makochibi timeline on her PTR I decided to nail down a rough outline.

Day 1 Travel Day: Hoping for a morning or early afternoon flight so i've left this one open. We'll most likely do dinner at Art of Animation or if we get in early enough Downtown Disney.

Day 2 Magic Kingdom
Quick breakfast in room or downstairs-thinking about ordering groceries
Gastons Tavern-for the cinnamon rolls
BOG-Lunch (hoping for FP)
Leaving dinner open

Day 3 Epcot
Akershus breakfast - Still debating this one, mostly for the $$
Via Napoli for a late lunch
Dinner is open, probably around the world.

Day 4 Animal Kingdom
Tusker House breakfast
Yak & Yeti for a late lunch
Dinner is open once again - Maybe Captain Cooks

Day 5 Rest Day
Kona breakfast
Wolfgang Puck for lunch
Ghiredelli for snack
Dinner is open - Maybe O'hana if I can convince DH

Day 6 Magic Kingdom
Crystal Palace early reservation - If I can't get an early reservation this day we have another day to try for.
Sleepy Hollow for lunch
Dinner is open

Day 7 Hollywood Studios
Hollywood & Vine breakfast - Depending on if DD is still obsessed with Disney Junior
50's Prime Time for a late lunch

Day 8 Magic Kindgom
Light breakfast or Crystal Palace early reservation if I didn't get it before
Columbia Harbour House lunch
Pecos Bills Dinner

Day 9 Travel Day
Open as i'm not sure when our flight will be

The only thing i'm not sure of is O'hana and I left Beaches N Cream out to see if it will fit in our schedule. I left most of the dinners open since i'm planning on a later lunch and am not sure how hungry everyone will be. This is a very rough draft as I think we have too many character meals for our stay and may cut it down.

Akershus was great! We did early entry breakfast there last year. The food was great. They do a parade for the kids which was fun to watch. The character interactions were better than CRT. We even had a couple come by twice. (CRT one princess skipped over us until we talked to our waitress) And glad I could inspire you. LOL Trying to plan out outfits so I can slowly buy between now and then, so everything needed to be decided on early.

Yikes I can't believe it's been more than 2mo since i've updated. :rolleyes1

Summer has just flown by and it's been full of fun family time with lot's of out of state visitors and mini vacations. :cool2:

So if you're still reading, or following there have been some new tweaks to the schedule, so Yay for an update.

Finally, finally picked out our dates: May 19th-27th. This will allow us to spend 6 days in the park, 1 day of rest in the middle and our 2 travel days. These dates are still not locked in though since Memorial day falls on the 25th, so I need to do some more research to see how crazy the park is going to be.

The line-up has changed around as well due to Extra Magic Hours (as long as they stay as they are right now).

That's it for now, will spend some time in the next couple of days figuring out fastpass+. Contacted Dreams Unlimited for a price quote so super excited to ehar back from them and get this ball rolling. Seems likes it's taken forever just to get this far and we're still 9mo away. :scared1:

Oh man, it's been way too long since I updated this. It's crossed my mind a time or two but I never could quite find the time to put everything down.

49 days to go and counting, to say we are excited is an understatement. After the 3rd day in a row of DD asking 'How much longer!' until our trip I decided to make a count down jar. It's filled with colorful rocks, she transfers one a day until there are none left, and there's a chalkboard slate behind it with the number of days left to go.

Now on to the good stuff, here's what we have planned.

Departure Day :(

Disney's Pop Century Resort
Check Out Before 11:00 AM

DH really wants to do the 24 hour event day at MK, we only have base tickets so he'll have to upgrade to a park hopper but we're not sure if we might as well upgrade everyone's ticket or just his. This comes into play for our Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom days. Our first plan of attack was to hit stuff in the morning, each lunch then take a nap/relax at the hotel and go back later in the afternoon to finish off the park. But I know if we all have park hoppers the urge to use them and not waste them will be strong. So right now I'm only trying to plan out the morning parts of our trip and we'll let the afternoons go as they will.

Surprise!
A whole second post.

I figured the first was wordy enough that I would make a second post for our plan of attack at Hollywood Studios.

9a Park Opens
*Hit Star Tours on our way to Muppet Vision
9a-10a Muppet Vision FP+
10a-10:15 Frozen Sing a long FP+
10:25a Frozen Sing a long starts
11a-ish DH will go to One Man's Dream
- DD and I will either go get in line for Disney Junior show or Jake/Sophia meet and greet.
11:20a Show or 12:10p show
12:40p Lunch @ 50's Prime Time

Depending on how we're feeling after lunch we might go back to Animation Courtyard to meet Fantasmic Mickey (Jake/Sophia if we didn't get to it before) and take an animation drawing class.

That leaves must do's:
Rockin Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror

Maybe do's:
Beauty and the Beast
Fantasmic

And so it's not just words after word after words I'll leave you with a cute pic of DD in her Minnie Mouse play dress she got for Christmas last year.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a plan of attack for Epcot so I guess I'll just post the things we hope to get done. Still up in the air about when DH will leave to go to MK to attend the 24 hour event and if we'll be joining him. He keeps going back and forth, I'm trying to encourage him to still go as I know he'll regret it if he skips it, but there is so much we want to accomplish in Epcot. :sigh

9:20 Akershus Breakfast
11a-12p Character spot FP+
12:05p-1:05p Soarin FP+
1:10p-2:10p Turtle Talk with Crush FP+
4:30p Via Napoli late lunch/dinner

Trying to figure out how long it takes to walk from the front of Epcot to Norway for breakfast, if it doesn't take super long I'm hoping to maybe hit Test Track before breakfast, if not we'll try again later.

We had some custom made shirts done by a friend, they turned out so well DD will be so ecstatic when I show them to her tonight. Sorry the pictures aren't that great, it was really overcast this morning and my lighting isn't very good.
