Insert Catchy Title Here Updated Mom's Day. With pictures. Many pictures. For Mom's!

We did a little browsing, as I noted to her that we were staying at SSR for our final two days, and would be much easier to shop then. Finally we made our way to what has to be the best Counter Service in the World. Not Disney World, but the actual earth. Or E-Arth if you like Stitch. The Earl of Sandwich. Mmmmmmm…

We had learned about the Earl here on the DIS and we're one of the lucky few people to have an Earl locally. I took DD5 and DD3 there the other day for lunch. I think it tastes better at DTD, but so does everything else. :)

Guess who's back, back again?

Ok, long story short.

Life got crummy. :headache: Work got tough. Fonzy got sick  (and at such a young age). Work got tougher.:scared: Moving stunk. :laundy:

Now I'm in. I'm calm:happytv: , and I'm happy. :rotfl2:

And I must finish this damn report. :surfweb:

Sorry for the ultra long delay. :flower3: I shall begin writing anew tonight, and will have an update by Thursday evening.

:rolleyes1

Sorry to hear that life got crummy :headache: , you got sick:sick: , work got tough:scared: and moving stunk:laundy:

Glad to hear that your happy:rotfl2: and calm:happytv: WELCOME BACK!:cheer2:

Looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

Okay, so you win! I had to take a 2 1/2 week break for volunteering purposes...but what are you at...2 month break?

I am glad you are on the up and up...on with it!

Let's see if I can get this to work.

Wow, THAT thing is HUGE!

But it is a picture.

Ok, so here's the deal. I just had my wisdom teeth out and don't feel like being ultra creative. So, it's picture time. Once I figure out how to resize em, of course.

For those that were awsome and read along, these are our two duck friends outside of Wilderness Lodge just minutes after we checked in.

Back in a bit.

Notice the chair completely blocking me. FT has her priorities in line for sure. This was also just after we arrived.

This is actually later in the week, and posting the picture is more of an apology to the people behind us that dealt with expecting ducks during their stay.

Ok here are some pics from Day One at Magic Kingdom. Not going to tell stories, shocking as that may be. You want to match them to the story, go back and read. :thumbsup2

If I remember correctly, I was all alone here because it was raining. And cold. I was wearing shorts because I'm from NY and it was February. Leave me alone.

Disney02-02-07020.jpg

The sun will come out, minutes later, bet your bottom dollar that minutes later... there'll be sun.

Disney02-02-07022.jpg

THIS is why you get there before everyone else. After riding Space Mountain it is always great to see an empty Tomorrowland.

One of two pictures Steph posed for with characters all week. She's a huge Stitch fan, hence the reason for stopping. That and there was no one around. Little did I know that there would not be much more posing.

I do this every trip. I don't how stupid it is. I also don't care that how many looks I get when doing it. Nothing bothers me. HAHAHAHA!

YAY! You have a face now not just a larger than life funny personality... :) The wisdom teeth thing stinks big time!!! But lot of ice cream will help and i'm sure it can't hurt having some during the hot weather too! Looking fwd to more, more more!

Now see, I think I'd have a blast hanging out with you at Disney.

And I'm with you re: shorts in FL in February. The very first time I went to Florida was for spring training (yes baseball, not Disney) and I went swimming. People thought I was nuts because it was only something like 68, but I didn't care, it was only 26 when I left New England. I was swimming.

So glad you're back...and the pics are great! It's always nice to put faces to the stories!
Looking forward to more....:thumbsup2

Thanks for adding the pics, they're great! Hope you feel better soon, been there, done that with the wisdom teeth. UGH!

Well, I just found your TR last night, and finished catching up today! I was enjoying it so much, I didn't even realize there weren't pictures, until you mentioned it mid-report. So, I have to share--you know all your references to being/getting old? Well, I gotcha beat--when you said that you were at the PP Party and heard "Push It", guess what I thought of first? ( You know what's coming). Yeah, Salt and Pepa!:rotfl: :rotfl2: My all-time favorite dance song!!! :dancer: Ah, the years of clubbing with a friend's borrowed i.d......so, see, you aren't so old after all! Yes, that would have been some very un-Disneylike dancing at the old P &P, wouldn't it?

Can't wait for the rest of the story!

This happened shortly after the whole, "how much longer did the ride come out after the movie," saga I went through. I nearly jumped through the roof, and I don't even like men.

For the ladies, I figured it should be its own post.

Now, if you remember, we were only in Pirates at this point because of the monster storm outside. This is one of the things I like about Disney. They knew the ride was going to be suddenly a lot longer, cranky kids. Can't do the Pirate tutorial, so we'll throw Jack in line. Brilliant. And wise. I love Disney. Too much, prehaps.

Happy Birthday to all the mother's out there (it's an old line from Baseball Hall-of-Famer Ralph Kiner, who can sometimes get confused. Like a poor man's Yogi Berra)

Today we are LIVE (three months later) from Animal Kingdom

Disney02-02-07063.jpg

Ahh the Ostrich. What can you say, other than it is the ugliest, scariest bird alive. Imagine if this could fly.

Disney02-02-07070.jpg

Steph's kitty. Honestly, I think she truly believes she could walk up to it and pet it. She's a cat person. I don't want to disappoint, but I think that would get ugly. Quickly.

Disney02-02-07059.jpg

Little Red. Or is it Big Red? I don't know, but thankfully the poachers failed. I love elephants. How can you not love an elephant.

Disney02-02-07057.jpg

The giraffe is my favorite animal. I think it's because I always related to its struggles. Taller than most around, trouble finding food, spots. You know...

Disney02-02-07055.jpg

Hippos are funny. I have never taken a picture of a hippo and not laughed afterwards. Mostly because I can't get the, "mouth open wide, going to eat you," action shot. I don't think I'd laugh at that. But this one? Sure. And the next one...

Disney02-02-07054.jpg

See?

I need to work on my focusing. Yikes.

Disney02-02-07051.jpg

What do you think he's pondering?

Disney02-02-07047.jpg

It's a pouting gorilla. No, not me. Jerks.

Disney02-02-07035.jpg

These things freak me out. A lot.
