Input needed on flights please!!!

We (very recently) decided we're going to go to Florida in July. I'm looking at flights and don't have any idea if the prices I'm seeing are good. 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids ages 9, 15 and 18, so technically 3 adults). Leaving Providence RI 7/19 and coming back 7/26 total on Southwest is $1270. Is this good? Are we too close to hope for anything cheaper?

That's not bad considering I live in Maryland and they have a hub here and they want $400.00 for round trip for oct.

thanks! You're the 2nd person to comment with a similar comment so I booked them! jetblue was almost $600 more! Delta too.

For airfare, you are all adults. Under $300 a person is good these days, I would jump on it.

We paid $282.00 for the same week from Philly on SWA. USAirways was much more expensive (not to mention the luggage fee). Since they are also moving through their merger with American, I was happy to avoid them during the transition. I agree that if you can stay under $300, you are doing pretty well. We paid over $300.00 last year, so I was happy to grab this fare.

I would grab those in a heartbeat! For us to fly 6 people out of Indy on southwest it was gonna cost over $3100. We have always flown the same week in the past and never paid more than $1500. I don't know what's going on, but we will be driving this year
