What do you recommend at Innoventions for DD 13 and DD 15? We've never been in there with them on our previous trips. We're going to be in Disney in 2 weeks  and I'd love them to try something new.

Worth a walk-through, though don't expect anything mindblowing. Outside of Sum of All Thrills, a simulator that simulates a rollercoaster, it's essentially something you'd see in a children's museum.

Definitely pales to the communicore and innoventions of the past.

A room full of videogames...man I miss those days.

My DS7 loves it but not sure he will when he is older. It is a very nice place to cool off so would be worth walking through just for the air conditioning break.

I would basically agree with all of this, but I did want to post to add that Sum of All Thrills is head and shoulders the best thing in Innoventions and is absolutely worth your visit all by itself. It's an oft-overlooked attraction at EPCOT, but it's a lot of fun, particularly if they like thrill rides. Depending upon what you make it do (you design your own coaster), it could be the most intense ride at EPCOT, because you can make it do inversions, etc.

Storm Struck is very much worth the time in addition to SOAT.

The line for SOAT moves VERY slowly and the manual wait time posted has not been accurate in my experience. If you catch it with a small line, it's worth doing for sure.

Sum of All Thrills and another exhibit where you star in your own video game (maybe called Smarter Planet?) were the two most popular things to do at Innoventions for my two boys ages 12 and 8. In the video game exhibit you are asked to perform a few different motions, and then your images are incorporated in to an old-school style video game that you can play.

There is also an area at Innoventions where you can practice riding a Segway. However, I'm not sure what the age requirement is for that. It might be worth checking out.

I'm pretty sure the Segway age is 16 even for just trying it out.

We've never been 'wow' about Innovations so I don't have any suggestions - sorry!

We were there last month and the "Try a Segway" thingy is gone.

We've done the storm simulator in the past and liked it, and did the new "house of the future" demo this time and it was very cool.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it is worth a stop for my family... even if it is just for the a/c!! :)
