I'm wondering what are the worthwhile attractions to see within Innoventions. The four of us will be there the beginning of November - kids ages 9 and 14, and their parents. Thanks!

We only went to one of the Innoventions, the one with the robot stuff in it. DS had fun creating a robot and running it in a race (all on a computer screen). I was told you get to build a robot, but all they had was little plastic pieces. There was also a place to play those games where you stand in front of the screen and swing a bat at a ball you can see on the screen...they had baseball and something else. I also vaugely remember some kind of building with windows, but can't pull it out of my brain right now :bitelip: . We skipped the other one since it did not sound interesting.
That said, it was not what I thought it would be. My son is very big into science and was really looking forward to this. He was 9 tho, and is precocious and alot of the stuff seemed geared toward younger children. The robot race was fun, and I saw older kids at the video game. It would be worth a walk thru, since something might catch your fancy that didn't catch ours. I just honestly expected more :confused3 . He had more fun at DisneyQuest later than at Innoventions, but that is an add on price to the ticket :rolleyes1 .

My girls were 6 and 8 last year when we went and they enjoyed playing some of the games. They got to bowl with out throwing a real ball, played a video game with 3 other people while parents het to watch on an over head screen. Walk thru if something cathces there eye they can try it out. They also has some new vidoe games they could play, they had the stop, drop & roll house for the little ones to go thru. Doesnt take long to walk thru if there isnt something that interests you just pass right thru

Well I'm a little partial to the Fire exhibit since I'm a firefighter lol but it really is a great way for kids (and adults) to have fun & learn some very valuable lessons at the same time. I definitely recommend it.
