inner loops in 1500

I've been looking at the google earth site.... it appears that the center of loop 1500 is just woods? So, the innner loops back up to woods and then the other inner sites, right? Does anyone know how they compare to the outer loops... size and shade?

I'm not sure that I follow your question exactly. The inner sites on all of the loops have trees and other campsites behind them, just like the 1500 loop.

On the 1500 loop, I would say that all of the sites are pretty equal shade-wise, except for a few of the outside sites that back up to the canal.

We are thinking of requesting 1509 (I know... it's not a guarantee) and when I zoom in the google earth.... it almost looks like a pond... but then it looks like just a group of trees. Just wanted to check.

It's just trees.

But, the inner part of the 1500 loop often has standing water after heavy rains.

So do a lot of other loops.
