My Mother and father in law are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary tomorrow. What an achievement in this day and age.

No they don't like fuss and my FIL isn't too good health wise we shall just go to theirs. Its my mom and dads in november they on the other hand will want to do something special.

My in-laws celebrated theirs last Saturday. They organised a meal at a hotel and my brother-in-law arranged fireworks afterwards. It was just like being at a wedding reception (except the guests were mostly the older generation).

Both my parents and my in-laws were able to celebrate their 50th. It really is something to be proud of. I hope DH and I will be able to as well.
