Ink prices ?

Never had a printer before but I recently received one through freecycle now I am out of ink. It is a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 832C. Please tell me where to buy ink from for it at the lowest price. I looked on Staples online and it was over thirty some dollars each color and black. Is this normal? I can't afford to coupon paying those prices for ink. I'd prefer a b&m store but price wins over preference. Help please!

Walmart is usually the lowest for my hp but it's still expensive. I have an HP in my camper that I don't use that much. At home, I use a Kodak. It ended up to be a bit less exensive to buy those cartridges. It appears that the Kodaks have a separate print head (mine quit working and I contacted Kodak and they replaced mine even though it was not under warranty, that's pretty good customer service!) While Hp, uses a cartridge that has the print head included. I am not sure which is better, but I love cheaper!

I buy mine from monstertoners.com . The cartridges aren't new, but I haven't had any trouble with them at all.

They sell OEM and remanufactured ink cartridges.

For yours, they only have the black remanufactured in stock, they are out of the color right now. You can still buy the OEM though, but as you already know it's expensive.

There are a whole bunch of online places that sell remanufactured or generic ink cartridges. Google it and see if you can find your brand. I used to have an Epson printer that ate cartridges like candy, and getting generic ones online was about half the cost of finding them in stores, and the performance was identical.
