I opened an account with the $50 taxcut promotion now I'm trying to open one for my DS and I can't with my name as a joint. How is everyone else bypassing that? thanks!

He must be primary and you as secondary. I'm not sure why it's not letting you; must be doing something wrong...I did my kids over a year ago so I'm not of much help, sorry!

I thought you could only use the Tax Cut promotion one time...are you trying to use the code for tax cut again? Otherwise, try putting your DS as primary and you as secondary as Beatty family has already said!

Which tax cut code/promo did you use? There is one for those who bought it and that is only good once and then there was one in a thread that was working for everyone more then once. It could be that ING caught on to that problem OR maybe it's some other mistake you are making?? Where are you trying to put the promo code for your son? Do you even get that far? What is the error message on the next page?

If all else fails, refer him and get $25.

edited to add, try and search for that thread on the tax cut promo and see what they all say and maybe post the question there. If I find that thread, I'll post it.

If you sign up using the Tax Cut promotion, I don't believe that you can issue referrals.

My coupon said that the Tax Cut promotion could only be used once per primary account holder. So if you are secondary, it may still work. Or they may have tightened up on that.

I don't believe that is true. Anyone that has an ING Account can get up to 25 referrals.
