I'm new to Disney and am going in January 09. We currently have a house booked in Windsor Hills, but we realized it was over MLK weekend. We're now looking to switch, but the house doesn't have any openings the following week. So, we're looking at a house in Formosa and will have to forgo out $100 initial deposit from WH.
Questions:
1. Is MLK weekend usually more busy than other weekends and if we can change now, should we (to the week after MLK weekend)?
2. I can't find information about what the Gated communities offer. I think WH is the one with the waterpark, but I can't find information on Formosa Gardens club house. The house we're looking at doesn't have a hot tub, so I'd like to know what the Formosa Gardens one has. I think WH has one.
Is Formosa really nicer than Windsor Hills? Are there any pros/cons to the communites themselves?
Anyone been to Disney in January? Will it even be warm enough to use any of the pools?
