Information after booking?

Wasn't sure where to post this so I hope I am in the right forum for this question.

My husband and I booked our trip about a week ago and I was wondering if we should be expecting anything in the mail? Confirmation of reservation or DME details? I got email confirmations/receipts but wasn't sure if they sent along any hard copies of details to your home address? For some reason I fee like I should be getting something related to DME? Luggage tags, boarding pass. etc?

Did you book a package (room and tickets/dining)? Or room only? If room only, you will only get the confirmation email. If you booked a package, you will get your "Mickey Mail" about 30-45 days out. This will contain confirmation info, package info and vouchers for mini-golf, Disney Quest, resort Arcade, etc.

Did you call DME and make your reservation? If so, you will get your luggage tags about 30 days out. If not, call DME and make your reservation.

Thanks dansdad! We just booked last week for a trip at the end of June. I think we were 40 days out when we made the reservation. It was a park/room package and I provided the CM with our flight info. I would assume that would cover making a DME reservation.

Keeping my fingers crossed for some Mickey Mail soon!!

You would think so, but not necessarily. I would still call DME and make sure they have your reservation. Out of our last 5 trips only once did DME have us down for a reservation after giving the booking CM our flight info. The other 4 I had to give DME our reservation number and flight information.
