Information about using Costco Travel

Hi,

I recently booked a cruise for February 23rd, 2019. I booked this cruise myself through Disney. This is our second cruise and last time I just went through Disney. I am concerning going through Costco for the Costco cash card.

What I want to know is when going through Costco travel am I able to make changes myself or when it comes time to check in am I able to complete that process myself.

Any insight would be nice.

When you use a Travel Agent, the only things you must actually go through them for are any money-involved issues directly related to the reservation (changing rooms, dining seating, changes to reservation). For online check in and excursion/activity bookings, you can do that yourself.

Just so you know, even paying installments through Costco can be done on line. But if you have changes, like room changes or adding a dining request, for example, you'd call Costco to do it. Check in and any things related (like signing up for stuff) you can do yourself.

One additional thing...you can ask Costco to automatically bill to your credit card so you don't have to remember the PIF date. They will hit your card 2 weeks prior to the PIF date to make sure there is time to get it fixed if something goes wrong with the card.

My personal experience is that with Costco the only time you need to go through them is when money is involved. I have been able to make a dining request by calling Disney directly.

OP just make sure you transfer the reservation without 30 days or it can't be done.
