Just wanted to pass along what a CM told me this morning.
I'm booked 4/16-30th, and previously another CM
jumped thru every hoop possible (he thought) to
get me ANY discount, even AAA.
No go - I was booked at PEAK Season rack rate for ASMo
for the whole stay - yikes!
Needless to say, I'm trying between now & then to
get some discounts!
So, I call today & the CM tried & tried, but no go.
She stopped all of a sudden & said, "Oh, that's why!"
She said the BEX code is NOT good for ressies over 10 nights.
So, she backed it down & down & down until finally
it gave me the code for the first 3 nights, and now I'll
just have to wait out a code for the rest of the trip.
Thankfully, by splitting the ressie anyway,
I save $10 per night on the other nights as now they're
booked at Regular Season rack rate.

Sorry so long, but wanted to give you my story in case
anyone finds themselves with a ressie over 10 nights.
You may want to ask the CM to split your ressie if you do,
if you're not getting the code, either.
(and I know the codes are done by blocks so there's no guarantee,
but if this CM today hadn't realized the 10 night limitation
I wouldn't have ANY discount).

Wow, thanks for the tip. I think this happened to us too. We booked from 4/16-4/28 and could only get the AP rate through the 26th. So we ended up booking our return flight for the 26th since we could only get the AAA rate after that and wanted to book the flight before it went up, rather than waiting for the next set of codes to come out.

You're welcome, and I'm glad you got
the AP rate for most of your trip!
Look for the lime green while you're there...

This also happened with a friend of mine that wanted to stay 14 nights with an AP - he had to split his stay 7/7 to get the best rates.

Is the 10 night maximum just for April, or is it for the whole time frame?
We're planning our summer vacation and we plan to stay for 14 nights, so now I have to do some replanning if this is the new way they're doing the AP codes.

My friends trip was this past May, so this has been around for a bit.

CM told me this one was for any ressies using code BEX.
But like the previous post'r said, their friends had it happen last May?
I'd just be prepared to split the ressie...

I had it happen in December. Reservation made in September. They told me the AP holders have been staying too long. :guilty: You have to split your ressie to get over the 10 days.
