Just under 180 days to go! - Have booked H&V Fantasmic Package and a dinner at Le Cellier on Memorial Day (29th May) but DS is insistant he wants breakfast at Chef Mickeys!

What time do you suggest we book so that we're ready for park opening?
Can you park at the Contemporary and leave your car there all day?
How do you get on after breakfast with transport to the park?

Can anybody please help or offer advice.

Am pretty sure CM opens at 7am, We had our adr for 8.10 and the room was in full 'celebration' mode when we arrived!

We had a large group that were going to different parks after breakfast so we parked at TTC and got the resort monorail to the Comtempary, if you do this make sure you leave plenty of time as the Contempary is last resort stop. This meant nobody had to move thier car after breakfast which meant getting to the parks quicker!

7am will give you plenty of time to get to the parks early, but dont rush your time with Mickey and friends, CM is fantastic!!!

You are not allowed to park at The Contemporary and leave your car there all day - the maximum time is 3 hours. Your best bet would be to park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot as usual, and they take the monorail over to the Contemporary for breakfast. I believe it operates even in the early hours before the park opens up. Then, after breakfast, you can either take the short five minute walk to the Magic Kingdom or the longer monorail trip from the Contemporary lobby. I would reserve your table for 1.5-2 hours prior to the opening time if you want to be at the Magic Kingdom for the rope drop.

Hope this helps :)

Another idea would be to go to the MK for rope drop get a few rides in and make your ADR for the latest possible breakfast time whihc is about 10:45??? you could treat it as an early lunch and then spend the rest of the day in the park.

Chef Mickey's is great for breackfast - large buffett - lots of character interaction - we do it every year. We usually stay at an Epcot reseot so get monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom - but have parked in Contemporary. ALthough you are not supposed to - we have been allowed to stay al day on 2 occaisions after talking to security
