Hello again. :O

I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on Disney World's water parks. More specifically, I'd like to know when they close (both hourly and seasonally) and what time of the year is good to go to them.

:)

They close seasonally, usually Jan & Feb, one park per month. Best time to go, well they get very crowded in the summer, and the close when there is lightning in the area. I think they open around 9 for normal opening and close by 6.

Have you checked disneyworld.com ? They have all the hours posted for the next few months. Also allearsnet.com has a lot of info.

Hope that helps some.

Thanks. I didn't see the calendar option on the site before, I was using a secondary site for looking at the hours and it didn't really list it by month, just in general.

Has anyone ever gone in the fall months like October or early November? I read the seasonal averages temperature-wise, I was just curious if anyone had actually gone during then before and how it was like.

Our first trip to one of the waterparks was earlier this month. We went to Typhoon Lagoon. We had never tempted the water parks before that time. However, we typically go to the world in Oct/Nov and we have always seen people getting on and off buses during those times.

If its warm enough to swim at the pool I see no reason its not warm enough for a water park.... unless its barely warm enough to swim and you have to get out and run inside because of brisk breeze. Maybe a bit much for walking around at the water park. Typically in Oct/early November we usually enjoy quite a few pool days and its great! We also had a couple nice pool days on our trip in Feb earlier this yr. The water is heated... so you just need a nice sunny warm day :)

Thanks. I looked it up on Disneyworld.com, and I think that only Blizzard Beach is open during November, Typhoon is closed for refurbishment. I'm sort of 50/50 on added the water park option to my tickets because of the fact that it may not great weather in those months.

By the way, your kids are too cute. :P

Thanks!

I wanted to add something else. Disney doesn't explain the waterpark thing well. I think its a hoax to get more money. If you buy 4 days of park tickets with waterpark option you get 4 days of parks and 4 days of waterpark. So 8 days of tickets to use as you wish. I think its a big load of crap.

If you want to go to a waterpark... unless you plan to go equally to parks... then go to the waterpark and buy a 1 day entry for like 35 bucks a person. I don't remember the exact number, but its not adding it to everyday, its just paying to go 1 day. This was how we did it. I didn't want to add a water park to everyday of park... I had no idea I could just buy "waterpark only" tickets as I went into the waterpark. The hotels and other places don't offer this option. They also don't elaborate its available... they lead you to believe that you have to add it on, since thats the "only type they carry".

Have fun! It was a good day. We enjoyed typhoon lagoon. We will go back one day :)
