Called Disney today to get some extra info on it and was told on the 10 day you have dinner at each place 3 times and one of them 4 times.

They have not decided if Palo can be done more than once at this time.

REAS is not going to be allowed on the 10/11 night cruise

They are in the planning process for excursions at all the new ports and will be released 6mths before the cruise.

Hope this helps everyone.

You can plan on each of those dinners being a different menu with wonderful food.

Palo can usually be done more than once, just not officially by disney cruise rules.

You will be very lucky if you get the excursion info six months before..I would plan on getting it 2 or 3 months before.

"REAS is not going to be allowed on the 10/11 night cruise"

what does this mean?

I am sure things can change but the man I spoke to told me that buying the REAS was not going to be available.

i feel funny asking but what is buying the REAS? and thank you for calling I am 5.5 months pregnant and all I think about is food! And I have been wondering what the food would be like.

REAS = Romantic Escape at Sea Package, costs $339

It includes dinner for two at Palo, two rainforest passes (for the length of the cruise), a chamgagne breakfast in bed one morning in your room, and a gift basket with a bottle of champagne and chocolates when you first embark.

Just to let you everyone know..My dh and I had the REAS on our July 2 cruise and the box of chocolates turned out to be a box of Creamsaver (Lifesavers hard candy). What a let down after I got the kids to bed, got my book out to read and opened my box of LIFESAVERS!! Just be forwarned so you don't have the urge to chuck the box across the room in disapointment!! LOL Amy :flower: BTW I did mention my disapointment to DCL in an e-mail and we have now forgiven Mickey for this small wrinkle in our fabulous cruise!!

I have a more basic question about the Wonder. We haven't cruised on the Wonder since 2000 and haven't been on either ship since the changes. I just want to make sure that the Wonder had the same changes as the Magic did. The DCL site seems to indicate that it has, but DU still has the old deck plans.

Also, is it a safe assumption that Palo will have brunch and afternoon tea on the longer cruises?

I wonder if they'll add a third formal night.

Boy, I'm loaded with questions.

I have so many questions too! How will I know what to pack? can anyone tell me more about the palo brunch? I saw pics of it on another site and it really looks good.

Good? That's like saying that Fantasia is a cute cartoon. The Mona Lisa is a nice painting. Them oh you get the idea. Palo brunch is a not-to-be missed meal while on board (warning, skip breakfast that morning).
