Info On Kennedy Space Centre Excursion With My Travel

We have booked to stay at CSR Oct 2007 and are hoping to do an excursion to Kennedy Space Centre. We have booked a package through My Travel so are going to do it through them, but I was just wondering if anyone else out there has done this before. Do you get picked up from the resort hotel, is it a good trip for kids - DD10 DS5 - any info would be greatly appreciated!

I have visited the KSC twice now. I think it is absolutely fab! Luckly for me the kids thought so too. I'm sure you'll have a great day.

I've been but not with MyTravel - you need to like space! The best option is to read up a bit in one of the guidebooks as to what the different tours and things involve - there is really not much that is hands on and so if you are a casual onlooker it may get a bit boring (eg 'if you look out of the window you can see the launch pad 2 miles away') - my Fiancee hated every minute of it, but I though it was fascinating!
