A Primer:
1) College Program is for college students to work at WDW.
. . . they earn cheap wages and stay (usually) in WDW housing
. . . they work a minimum of 30-hrs per week in WDW jobs
. . . they have some choice as to the discipline in which they work
. . . they "might" be able to choose resorts, rides, food, janitor, etc
. . . they usualy work from a quarter to a semester
. . . in some cases, they can get college classes and credit
. . . they interview at their school or a nearby school with a program
2) Experience
. . . it is mainly a big party, but, kids can learn valuable work experience
. . . it may or may not help when placed on a resume for other jobs*
. . . it may or may not give them a "leg up" to work at WDW after grad *
3) Conclusion
. . . it is normally a good time for the kids and worth the effort
. . . in most cases, past attendees recommend it
. . . kids will not get rich or come back with excess cash
. . . in many cases, their pay is subsidize by parent's allowance
