DH & I are taking my MIL to see Wicked on June 28th at Clevelands State Theater.

Can anyone tell me about the area? Any good restaurants to eat at or stay away from? It would be great if we could park the car in a garage near the theater, walk to dinner, then walk to the theater. Is that possible in that area?

Any info would be great - we are driving from Pittsburgh.

Here is the link to the playhouse district in Cleveland. It will tell you all you need to know.

I have been to many shows here but have neve eaten at any of the restaurants close to the theaters. Their website will give you some good tips though. There is a parking deck attached to the theaters.

The street that the theaters is on right now is under construction. It is still open to traffic but it is just a heads up. We were just there Friday to take the kids to Dorothy the Dinosaur show. We normally eat at the Winking Lizard. It is pretty casual place but the food is good. If you are interested I could find out exactly where it is when DH gets home.

ntbuns, info on the Winking Lizard would be fantastic. We are looking for something causal so it sounds perfect. Thanks for the heads up on the construction.
