For those of you who did the Dolphin Encounter, what did you think about it? Great or not so great? Worth the price? Not worth the price? Also if you booked with the Blue Lagoon package, what time was the Dolphin Encounter, or are the times to choice from?
Also, I understand that lunch is included in the package. Could you tell me what type food do they serve?

My DH and I can't decided if we should do this. I sure my DD7 & DD10 would love it. but is it worth it. Any info you can give me would be very helpful in making our decision.

Thanks!!!

We didn't feel it was worth it. Our family of 5 spent through Disney over $600-700 for about 10-15 minutes with a dolphin shared with about 4 others. If we would have done it ourselves, maybe. 1- it cost less 2- you take a high speed catamaran not an hour long ferry boat ride each way. 3- for the amount of time with the dolphin it didn't seem justified. We felt we had to try or we would regret it. Now we regret no stayin on the boat instead.

If you are looking for a great Dolphin Encounter, save your money and book Discovery Cove. Here you can swim all day with the sting rays, tropical fish and a moving river while you wait for your turn to swim with the Dolphins, you only get about 15 minutes here also but it is only $199.00 per person, they limit the amount of people to a maximum of 1000, you get lunch, a free family photo, free snorkel and a 7 day pass to Sea World. If you want to not swim with the Dolphins but enjoy the rest of the park, it only costs $99.00 and you still get the lunch, photo, snorkel and 7 day pass. My family did it and we would do it again in a heart beat.
