Info needed! Getting from Amtrak to AKL

We are taking the train from Miami to Orlando (which I am aware takes a long time, but I adore the train) and need to find a way to get from the train station to AKL.

We arrive at the Orlando Amtrak at 7:00pm on April 30th, but unfortunately all the rental car offices close at 6:00pm, so renting a car is out. We could get off a stop early in Kissimmee as well, so if that would work better for something I am open to the option.

I'm looking for something on the affordable side.

Possible options:
- Get to MCO and take ME from the airport to AKL
- Taxi to AKL
- Book a towncar to take us to AKL
- Take some sort of shuttle van that I have heard waits at the Orlando train station, but this is a rumor I've only read on message boards. I have yet to actually find info from the company that runs it.

Please help! Any info, experiences, suggestions are very much appreciated.

We took Amtrak last trip and there were Mears vans lined up outside. Not sure if they do that at both stations and all hours. We ended up sharing a van with several others and it took a long time to get to the Contemporary.
