Once again a work colleague is picking my brains and my contacts......

They have booked two weeks for next August staying at the Masters inn kissimmee, the one next door to the big orange gift shop. They have booked the two room suite option. Any information on this hotel good or bad appreciated. thanks all. alison

Hi,
Our DD just stayed there for 3 weeks and was very unhappy with it!
She was expecting a small pool and probably small rooms because it is at the cheap end of the market but she was not happy with the state of the rooms at all. She said the tiles were falling off the bathroom walls and although the rooms were clean they were in a poor state of repair. They asked for the tiles to be repaired but the man left grout all over the carpet and some of their clothes and put the rest down the loo blocking it.
They went to ask for it to be unblocked and reception offered them a plunger and said they would have to do it themselves!
The alternative room they were offered stank of wet dog and altogether it was a bit of a disaster.
Fortunately they had lots of passes and planned to be out all the while so it was just somewhere to sleep but she says never again!
She has complained to Virgin but has had no reply yet.
Sorry it sounds so awful but you did ask!

Firstly please dont apologise for your report, secondly thankyou for replying.

I too was a bit worried when they said they had booked this hotel as i have heard things about 2 star properties.

My BIGGEST worry for my friends is that they are used to staying in a villa with other people from their family, so i dont think they know just what they are letting themselves in for.

They have booked one of the "suites" with a separate bedroom as they have two children with them.

Please keep me updated with their dealings with virgin, it will be interesting to see what they say. just to add a note, we upgraded from the two star daysinn maingate west to the nearly four star sheraton points after reading advice on the days inn on this board and others.
