Hi everyone
We are going to disney for the first time at end of May with our ds 14 and dd 10.
I am going to get the 10 day ticket from Lunn Poly with a character breakfast included.
Could anybody please give me info on -
1. Best place to have the breakfast.
2. How far in advance will we need to book.
3. How exactly do you go about booking a reservation.

These may seem obvious questions but we are new to all this.

Welcome to the Boards :D

Sorry, don't know anything about the 10 Day ticket Character Breakfast but if the Crystal Palace Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is included in your choices, that is a lovely breakfast with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to help out further! :D

Hi Henrydog and welcome!

We've never bought the 10 day tickets, but there are plenty of people here who have, so I'm sure you'll get some useful information soon. I agree with Mazzy about Crystal Palace - we had a great time there for younger dd's 11th birthday.

I've got a feeling I've read somewhere (here probably!) that Donald's Breakfastosaurus is one that is included in the 10 day ticket deal.

We went to Hollywood and Vine for our free one last year - good food, great fun:)
I think the other choices are OHanas,DOnalds Breakfastsaurus and sorry but cant remember the last one! Think it might be Garden Grill but I think they stopped breakfast there. You book as you would any other meal, there is a phone number to ring whcih i'm sure someone will post for you:)

Hi, and welcome to the boards

From what I have read, O'hana's may not be one of the choices any more and although Garden Grill is one of them, it isn't doing them at the moment. Restaurantaurus has had some poor reviews, but I haven't been, so can't comment. Hollywood & Vine is a great buffet, so that would get my vote!

I don't think you need to panic about booking something up, although there would be no harm in doing that if you wanted to make sure of a particluar date and time. Maybe you could wait until you get there and have a look at the restaurants on offer to help you make your choice then.

Hilary -

where have you read about Ohana's not being an optoin anymore? I've been trying to get a list of the choices but it doesn;t seem to be published anywhere, which is a little frustrating to say the least.

we are going to go with Hollywood and Vine - it looks like a really fun choice

Bev

Welcome to the UK DIS :) Hopefully Lunn Poly will be able to supply you with a list of the character breakfasts bookable with this pass, and if you'd like to call in advance, you call WDW Dining on 001 407 939 3463 .
If the Crystal Palace is an option, you can see it is very popular! Winnie The Pooh and friends are on hand at this restaurant and many have said that by booking for a late time e.g nearer 10.00am, the restaurant is less busy and the characters hsve more time to spend with you.
The Hollywood and Vine in MGM is another popular breakfast.

We'll be going with the Hollywood and Vine option. We've never had a bad meal there. Great buffet and fun characters.

What characters do you get at hollywood and vine? i bought the 10 day tickets today and was wondering with breakfast we should go for.........i don't even know which park hollywood and vine is in :o :o

Angie, H&V is in Disney's MGM Studios.

The characters there when we went were Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto. About every 20 to 30 minutes Minnie and Goofy go to the front of the restaurant and do a bit of boogying and all the children are invited to go and watch them. Minnie doesn't go round to the tables, she stays at the front and will meet children and sign autographs there, the other characters go round all the tables.

We had our free character breakfast at Donalds Breakfasaurus last year and we all really enjoyed it. There was a lot of interaction with the characters and the waiter we had made it even more enjoyable.

We went to Holywood and Vine last year with our 10 day pass. The breakfast was fantastic with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale - great for kids and adults too. We didn't book as the parks were so quiet anyway so can't help you with that.

Thanks Hilary, trust me not to know somthing like that! do you think we would need to book this? we are going in september which people have said is a quiet time anyway but i wouldn't want to miss out

Never had 10 day tickets so can't comment on those.

Went to Donalds Breakfastsaurus last May & it was brilliant!!!!!

We booked before we went & just walked in after having a group photo taken.

we had a booking for either 10.30 or 11.00 can'tremember which . This time worked out well for us. We got to Animal Kingdom for just after opening at 8.30 & were able to go on several rides before our time. After eating breakfast at that time we didn,t want any lunch.

We saw Mickey Donald, Goofy & Pluto & had good interaction with them, it didn't feel rushed. They signed autographs for our kids.

Our Ds 15 was too old for the above but he loved the buffet breakfast & managed to visit several times!!

We also had a great server CM Robyn who played practical jokes especially on eldest DS.

When you're there you can make reservations at any of the guest relations , we used guest relations at Downtown Disney for some of ours.

Hi

With our 10 day pass last October we had our breakfast at Breakfastasarus (sp!). This one has more mixed reviews and though some others on this thread enjoyed it,based on when I went,I wouldn't really. Hollywood and Vine seems a safer bet as I don't think I've seen any negative reports on there.

You can make a priority seating in the usual way.Although you could wait until you're there,if you know where you want to eat why not book it before you go;)
