Info about where to find talking fountains etc.

I am trying to help some friends plan their first trip to the WORLD next month and I was hoping to supply them with a little inside info - like where to find the talking fountain at Epcot, the talking garbage can in Tomorrowland (and when too - it was his day off when we were there!) and the living statues in Epcot - I have heard these are so cool, but didn't get to seem them ourselves. ANY information about how and when they might have the best luck finding these little gems would be very much appreciated! I just want them to have a magical trip - especially since my DH keeps telling them that I know ALL the secrets!! I wish! Can anyone help me spread the pixie dust?? THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help!

One talking fountain at Epcot is located on the West side of Future World between the breezeway and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Just bear left as you exit the breezeway and it is right before the restrooms on your left hand side. Another one is alongside the dancing waters fountain in the Main Plaza across from Mouse Gear.

You can find the talking palm tree (Wes Palm is its name) in the main entrance plaza outside the Animal Kingdom and along the front of the turnstiles there. This is my particular favorite as the tree will proceed to follow unsuspecting guests who walk by it. Fun to watch.

I've seen the talking trash can in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. I'm sure there are others.

Jamie, If you would like I could send you my list of Disney World “Odd thing to see and do” list. I have it broken out into the four major parks, a general category, Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney. But remember that I just took what others have posted, then cut and pasted them. I have not done even half of what is on this list, so I don’t know how accurate it is…….
