Info about the Attic

I was told that should we get rained out for Sea Breeze Point that the Attic was our back up. What can you guys tell me about it and does anyone have any pictures of what it looks like??? Thanks!!!!

I think that is amazing to have the Attic as a back up....I assumed it would be a ballroom! That Attic is gorgeous!! Many disbrides have used it for their reception. I haven't been there, but from the trip reports I have read, I love it! There are pictures in this link:

When did the Attick become a back up location for Sea Breeze Point? I wonder if that is temporary. It sure beats the ballroom location they normally have for back up.

Wow. The Attic? I thought the ballroom at the Boardwalk were the backup locations. My SBP wedding was rained out and I was in the Marvin Gardens ballroom. If you want to look at Attic pictures my reception was there and they are in my TR. The link is in my signature. The Attic seems to be a kind of awkward place to have the ceremony though.

I just asked my planner about that. She said it is really unusual, and usually only offered if there is a reception being held by the person as well!

Ahhh that makes sense. I guess since I was having my reception there I couldn't have my ceremony there at the same time.

It would make a pretty place for a ceremony but I wonder what they do with all that furniture in there.

I really think that it was because I pitched a fit to think that I paid all that money only to be stuck into an empty room for my wedding. I can get married in a hotel meeting room here and not have spent all this money on it. I have spent 4 years planning a wedding and this is our 8th or 9th wedding date that we have had. We are military and due to deployments we have had to change the wedding date multiple times. This is also our second choice as we were supposed to actually get married at the Naval Academy. My planner is probably going against the norm for us, God bless her for it.

I'm going to try the same thing! I think my planner is willing to work with me! If I decide on the Attic for a reception, I think I can coax her into it!

My BEO also shows the Attic is being requested as my backup location for SBP, although this isn't guaranteed and could still change last minute apparently.

I didn't specifically request anywhere as a backup location, this just turned up on my BEO, but I'm really pleased, as with us only having a small group it would be nicer for us that a ballroom I think....
