info about sunset pointe weddings

Hello! Would love some information from brides to be or past brides at Sunset Pointe. Possibly having an intimate wedding, just the two of us, in Sept.. Love to see some pictures! Thanks!

I got married @Sunset Pointe last July. It was the best! Very romantic. The location is gorgeous and tropical. I highly recommend this wedding location. The pictures of the wedding are gorgeous. People that saw ours thought we got married in Hawaii! If you have any questions, let me know!

I don't have any pics handy but all I can say is wear your hair up....it can get windy out there. a longish semi heavy dress is good too.

My pics are in the top post. I love Sunset Pointe, it's so beautiful. We got married in Sept and when we planned it no one told use it was hurricane season. We got lucky ours was between 2 hurricanes and we had a beautiful day. I know they were very busy trying to catch up on the weddings that had to be canceled the weak before. So keep that in mind when planning your trip. Good luck.

Hi i have a few questions for LUVTGR, on your wedding photos i notice you are with disney characters is this at your reception? if so where were you having this?

Also did disney do your hair? As it is exactly how i want mine it is so beautiful!

I am getting married at sunset point too and was wondering where we have our mini reception afterwards?

Does wind effect the wedding video at sunset point? i am worried it will create too much noise, do you know if this is a problem?

Lastly your honeymoon pics were fab but do you only get 20? I have booked this session ans suprised you only got that many!

Our reception dinner was at 1900 Fare in GF. It was a nice dinner and the characters gave us a lot of attention. Disney did my hair and make up, the two girls that came to my room were wonderful. They not only did a great job, but they also helped me into my dress and were so sweet. Thank you for the compliment. I believe normally the mini reception is held outside at SP, our was inside at Tarragon Terrace (I thinks that's the name) because it poured all day before the wedding and rained again as we were finishing pics. It worked out well because it was a hot day and the room was air conditioned. STVS did our wedding video and the wind was not a problem on the video. I only got 20 pic w/ the honeymoon package. It don't the the pics were bad, they just aren't as nice as Randy's, if I hadn't seen the awesome pics from Randy first I proably would have been fine w/ Disney's.

Hi LUVTGR - I assume you just went along to the character dinner at 1900 fare - rather than a private reception? This is what we are thinking of doing as I like the idea of having characters at the reception - we are getting married at Disney after all!

ps I love your photos in your sig you look gorgeous. Are those Disney photos or Randy's?
