Any pointers on where I can find good info on the Good Neighbor Hotels? Looking for free parking, free continental breakfast...decent and clean. Are there ones you like/don't like? I'd prefer similar to a Moderate or Deluxe at WDW.

We really like the Candy Cane Inn. They have a good free breakfast (nothing hot but a lot of variety for this type of breakfast), free parking, cute landscaping, free shuttle and they are within walking distance.

I don't think you're going to find any of the good neighbor hotels to be comparable to moderate or deluxe WDW hotels, imo. If you want a nicer hotel you'll have to look at places that are not within walking distance. My sister stayed at the Embassy Suites south and really liked it. They have a free hot breakfast but I'm pretty sure they have a resort/parking fee there.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Trey, I was looking for the distance link last night.

We are staying at Best Western stovalls. It is about a 15 minute walk from what I read however, ART is available and it is relatively unexpensive. We found a great deal and b/c of the continental breakfast, the free parking (watch some hotels charge up to ten bucks a day to park at the hotel), and the great price we swooped it up.

ART runs every ten minutes and prices are fairly cheap.. We are purchasing the three day pass since we will be in disney for 3 days!

one day pass is 4 dollars for adult and one dollar for child (ages 3-10)
three day pass is 10 dollars for adult and 3 for child
five day pass is 16 for adult and 4 dollar for child

I would SORT OF compare Candy Cane to a moderate as far as the room style is concerned. It's got a Pt. Orleans Resort vibe, without the grounds, though. Finding the amount of land ANYWHERE in Anaheim that you have at the WDW resorts is pretty much a moot point.

I highly recommend Candy Cane. It's walkable; has free parking, a great breakfast, and a private free shuttle for when you CAN'T walk anymore! The rooms are cute, clean, comfortable (although they are on the small side) and well-maintained.
