Info about Bonnet Creek

We have a stay booked at Bonnet Creek for late October. I have rented a car, as Fairfield's shuttles only run every hour. Can someone who has stayed there tell us your thoughts about the resort--location, proxsimity to Parks, etc. We are two older adults and like a quiet place, but still want to be close to the magic! Is there a food court/restaurant on site? Also, can one drive to Boardwalk and park if you just want to shop or eat in the restaurants?

We are also staying there in late October. I know the location is next door to Caribbean Beach in the Disney complex. Its got to be pretty close to most of the parks.

Yes you can tell the guard at the Boardwalk that you are visiting and they will tell you where to park. You can then visit the restaurants etc.

The only food service currently onsite at Bonnet Creek is a poolside "Bar & Grille" - open for 3 meals and snacks but not very late in the evening. You may drive to any Disney resort in the area and tell the guard that you are visiting to eat, shop or rent boats. They generally provide a 3 hour parking pass and direct you to valet (fee) service or free guest self-parking, whichever you want. During the day, this resort seems very peaceful and quiet as most people are at the parks - request a lake view, if you like that. But it does have nice amenities for people of all ages too. You're sure to like it! Have fun!

the self parking inside the BW parking lot is now only for the hotel & villa guest staying there.

there is outside parking that anyone can use.

when you turn at the gas station - kept going straight (don't turn left) - it is the next right turn.

Does the outside parking have a time limit?
