both DD'2 rec'd slleping bags that have inflatable beds under them for christmas - we have not used them yet but I was thinking of bringing them and seeing if Disney could put us in a room with a king size bed - figuring the girls can sllepin their own "little beds" and DH & I could have a regular bed ( we have a king at home and a double is very frustrating when DH rolls around a lot) Has anyone else done this? We already have a full size crib coming from ABBF. - would there be enough room? TIA

My son also got one for Christmas and we're thinking about bringing it with us too. Some one on here posted a picture of a twin airbed in an all star room and it fit fine. So I'm sure we'll find no problem finding a spot for this one.

If I remember correctly they moved the table next to the window and then put the matress there againts the wall. I'll see if I can find the thread again.

With a king bed I would probably put one on each side of the bed. I would just have to remember the kids are there and not step on them in the morning. :rotfl:

My understanding--and it could be outdated--is that the king rooms at the value and moderate resorts are limited to two people. There must be sufficient beds to accommodate each person in the room.

I'm sure someone with more experience--and better explanation!--will chime in soon.

This is basically the case, except that you may have one child under the age of three as well as two people over the age of three (whether they are two adults or one adult and one other child).

We have 4 kids and are staying at the Poly. We will have 2 queen beds and a daybed/couch so we are planning to take an inflatable twin size bed down with us. The bed and it's pump fit in our luggage and it looks like there will be plenty of room from the pics of the Poly rooms. You will not be the only one with an inflatable bed!!:thumbsup2

We had a king @ AKL with 2 DDs. 1 DD used the fold out and 1 used the air mattress. A little tight but it was nice to get a good night's sleep. We had everyone listed on the ressie and confirmed with the front desk that we could have 4 in a king room. I'm not sure if the fold out is unique to AKL - it was like a fold out chair, twin size, not like a regular fold out couch.

Many of the Deluxe resorts have a daybed or pullout that can sleep an additional person. The king room in Deluxes with a daybed or pullout can sleep three plus one child under the age of three. Deluxe queen rooms with the pullout or daybed can sleep five plus one child under the age of three. Value and moderate rooms (and some deluxe rooms) do not have the additional bed and can only sleep two plus a child under the age of three in a king room.

Our DDs were both over 3 at the time we stayed at AKL??

Can't explain it then! :goodvibes Occupancy in a king room is supposed to be two people plus an infant unless there is a daybed or pullout. Maybe someone on the resorts board can give the OP some different info.

call me crazy :lmao: but my kids have those too and before you go, try having them sleep on it in your room. They are so loud. maybe I am crazy but I would hate for you to be stuck with very noisy beds... every time my kids moved I cringed, I actually told them more than once to quit moving!!

We were told the same thing when we stayed at the Contemporary about the King bed. We were going to bring the kids' blow up beds and get a king and they said we could only have 2 people in a king room.

My youngest (almost 2) slept in his little blow up bed a few weeks ago at WL. We had 2 queen beds. My oldest had a bed to himself (lucky him) and my youngest slept right beside the door that led to the next room.
